  1. Friendly editing necessary.
  2. I just gotta know how they managed to collect $2100 in hotel tax revenue. What hotel is there? And is it hourly?
  3. I'm so fed up with it (on both sides) I'm ready for some sort of parliamentarian style representation. Ok Ohio you have 16 representatives. Democrats got 60% of the vote so they get 10 reps, GOP gets 6. Now go to Congress and fight for what you believe in.
  4. Another loss of cabin pressure for Southwest. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/southwest-flight-loses-pressure-makes-emergency-landing/ar-AAxfd08
  5. Wow that was amazing. Must have made a great compliment to the Shofield across the street.
  6. Moriarity's on E 6th has been their pretty darn long IIRC. I feel like I talked to the owner one night and he has had it for 30+ years, and bought it off someone else who had it nearly as long. It would make sense at the end of Short Vincent. EDIT: Since the 1930's according to this blurb: http://www.cleveland.com/goingout/index.ssf/2009/12/moriartys_in_cleveland_is_a_do.html
  7. You sure about that? Melanie Leneghan was a total unknown until he threw his support behind her. Jim Jordan is a huge figure in the state media cult of Fox News.
  8. Which is legal in CA I ain't judgin! Other than the local comparisons to Johnny Football....
  9. Is the Browns-orange air freshener there to mask the stanky weed smell? Hopefully not....
  10. Wow! Not even Cuyahoga? That's sad for Dennis! Time to retire to the cushy life of a Fox News contributor.
  11. I'm guess the TSA, like most Federal agencies, is constantly on the hunt for ways to expand it's ranks. Ultimate is probably already on the radar, and operating in loophole status.
  12. You could still operate without TSA if pax operations were from a FBO at CVG and not via the terminal. I also saw another survey asking about Bengals game-day trips. There is one in December to Cleveland--I invite all of Cincinnati to come up to Burke Lakefront, walk to First Energy Stadium and celebrate football mediocrity together!
  13. Issue 1 did indeed pass, by a 75/25 majority. https://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/politics/elections/2018/05/08/ohio-issue-1-gerrymandering/580679002/

Enough about the greatest of all time. How about the lamest? http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2774876-cavaliers-rumors-rodney-hood-refused-to-enter-4th-quarter-angered-teammates
  15. Ohio should be doing this--and also investing in our cities to keep the brightest young minds from moving to Chicago, New York, Seattle etc after college.
  16. Must have a degree from Trump University....
  17. Wouldn't it be great if the "Infrastructure President" came up with something like this? Americans are never going to give up "sprawl" on a large scale basis. You might be able to come up with a politically palatable way to quit subsidizing it and that might reduce the scale. Especially as the population ages. You guys should probably focus on that. But it's compatable with our national character to a degree that any attempt to "reverse" it on a significant scale would result in a massive political backlash. Especially with a President who is a follower not a leader. They will if they can't afford it. The lower the density, the higher the per unit cost of public services and transportation. Good luck trying to convince those people way out in the exurbs that they are actually a drag on state and local finances, rather than those "welfare leeches" in the city.
  18. And then, at least on I 71, take it one step further and cover the gravel with concrete ties and steel rails, connecting Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati with high speed rail.
  19. Wouldn't it be great if the "Infrastructure President" came up with something like this?
  20. Yeah the St Louis Cardinals did a great job...before the the team moved.....then they got a new team, who then moved again!
  21. From last week, but a quick breakdown of Cordray vs Kuchinich https://www.nytimes.com/2018/04/29/us/politics/ohio-governor-richard-cordray-dennis-kucinich.html?action=click&contentCollection=Politics&module=RelatedCoverage&region=EndOfArticle&pgtype=article
  22. I can't vote for anyone that uses a McMansion cul-de-sac as a backdrop, never mind the rest of the "I'm so conservative my blood is red" rhetoric.
  23. Not with the dealer sticker, tinted rear window and personalized plate!
  24. Wow they are a long way from the "city that rhymes with fun!" I wonder what brings them to this corner of Trumpistan?
  25. Maybe we're going about this all wrong. We have a stadium, but no one likes the site. But what if they put up buildings around the stadium to include apartments, condos and retail, which also would support a radical roof structure covering the playing surface. The only issue I could see is actually fully enclosing the openings to make it actually "indoors." But with some clever design it may be possible.
