Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I was thinking the very same. But I think I'll get over it eventually. :)

2024 US Senate Race
Bernie Moreno and Vivek Ramaswamy. How embarrassing for Ohio. We continue our nosedive to the abyss of flyover country.

Ohio LGBTQ+ News
Important work here happening for Ohio by the GOP. This ought to stop our population decline and national standing... 🙄

Hey hey hey---c'mon man the Browns didn't lose yesterday! 😐

Cleveland Burke Lakefront Airport
So tired of this giant apple to little tiny oranges comparison. The Chicago loop isn't littered with surface parking lots. Every inch of waterfront property had been developed for a century. Here in the city of Cleveland, we'd be lucky to get a park and a bunch of suburban cul-de-sac style developments. We should be looking at Buffalo for a closer comparison.

Let's Bring Back Art Deco in Ohio
Agreed on new builds. I'd also like to see two of our fine Cleveland original examples saved and repurposed (Fenn Tower and the Ohio Bell Building). Fenn Tower is teetering on the edge currently...haven't seen any updates from CSU since the closure announcement in June.

We have another home in Buffalo, where the wife is from.

Cleveland Burke Lakefront Airport
Just to remain clear....I support keeping Burke open, but including public lakefront access along the north side of the field, with a boardwalk of sorts wrapping the property. Until there is enough developer interest or the City of Cleveland finds funds to maintain a 450 acre park (Unlikely in the coming decade of MAGA), this to me is a logical first-step that allows public access while coexisting with the airport (and making for a pretty unique experience!).

Ohio: General Business & Economic News
I'm about to add to it. I'll still have my house here but will likely change my residence to New York. I can't with good conscious give my tax dollars to a state that will have Bernie Moreno plus a MAGA Senator to be named later. I also resent the Ohio GOP for the ads filled with blatant lies about Issue 1. If my vote no longer counts here, then I'd rather have it not count in a state more closely aligned with my values.

Cleveland Burke Lakefront Airport
Forgot about that. That is probably it! I still wish they would do it on the north side of the airport. An elevated boardwalk along the harbor, not unlike the Brisbane Riverwalk that I cycled a few months back.

Cleveland Burke Lakefront Airport
I just drove by BKL on the Shoreway. Independence Excavating is on the Marginal Rd taking down EVERY tree along the BKL fence-line. Probably some utility work coming, but sad to see all those trees go.

I'd like to see him appoint Sherrod Brown. Let the healing begin.

Other States: Passenger Rail News
About 80% of the RTA Rapid operators should take lessons from this guy. They care so little they cannot be bothered to utter more than an unintelligible mumble about a stop....

According to Flight Aware, we still have 16 today on Wednesday, October 30.

Cleveland: Demolition Watch
They should test this goal by shutting down the street a few days a week year round and see what happens. If it's a sucess, game on.

Not unless Haslam's "Crocker Barrell" Park development adds 5,000 hotel rooms to the Cleveland market...

Cleveland Browns Discussion
I admittedly didn't watch the entire game, but from the highlights it certainly casts a pall on Watson even more. Nothing much has change, yet Winston has added a spark.

Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
Kroenke got parking plus two NFL tenants. His still bigger. Sorry Jimmy. Sell the team! 😜

Cleveland: Ohio City: Irishtown Bend Park
Thanks GIS guy had no idea there used to be rails through there!

Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
Especially when Haslam benefited from the very same law to buy the Crew. The city should most definitely try to use this as leverage for concessions. There is also a common wisdom that the Brookpark deal is far from done and things could shift back to the Lakefront or other site within the City of Cleveland before this is over. Until Haslam transfers money and actually buys the property in Brookpark, I still think it's a toss up.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Irishtown Bend Park
Yeah I get it but it seems like even the upper "terrace" could be sold off.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Irishtown Bend Park
This is still 100% parkland, correct? Seems like a big wasted opportunity to add high end housing with those views.

Oh great. Does this mean there won't be a blonde (not my wife) grinding on me at a bar stool? 😜
