My wife moved to Cleveland to be with me and she is amazed at how many people in Cleveland don't use crosswalks and will run (often with their children) through a busy street just to avoid walking 150' to a crosswalk.....

Agreed, 9 is an embarrassing small number...especially for someone moving in from out-of-town looking for downtown urban ownership. Portland (where I currently live and where the gentlemen from the article above moved from) provides a better example of what Downtown Cleveland could/should look like from a "for sale" offerings metric. Portland OR has a similar 2.3 million metro population. I stopped in Papa Nicks a few days ago--that appears to be the loading dock and back-of-house. Hopefully they have a tasteful mural commissioned....

I knew the intersection at 45th wasn't happening--but I thought ODOT had agreed to get rid of that short merge from 28th. It's insane that they still allow that (almost as much as the drivers who don't know what a yield sign is).
