Cleveland: Shoreway Boulevard Conversion
I'm still surprised they aren't extending the bus lanes from the east end of Clifton to downtown(ish). The CSU line would be much more effective if it could continue it's rush hour lane convenience through this section.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
You could also argue the opposite, that Lebron elevated Kyrie's game by giving him open looks and plenty of amazing assists. Kyrie is great, but I don't see him transforming into some game-changing mega-stud just because he got away from Lebron.

Cleveland: Shoreway Boulevard Conversion
^^It's the people still doing 70 mph that are worrisome. Unfortunately it will take a horrific accident to make people take a stand against these drivers. Buffalo NY had a similar scenario with a 45 mph road through Delaware park that people treated as a wide-open interstate. It took the death of a 3 year old for change to happen. http://www.wkbw.com/news/198-speed-limit-reduced-to-30-mph-through-park

Lebron is going to make Isiah a household name, and I'm sure Kyrie will realize about 3 games into his Celtics season what he's missing there! :)

It's an all electric, zero-emmisions demo. So I guess that's what they are pitching :)

That could change considering Iceland Air's expansion in the USA. It could, but doubtful given the only overseas PC facilities currently are in Ireland. I could see one in a city like Frankfurt (especially with the large number of American citizens living there) long before one in Reykjavik.

757-2 most likely until they get the new 737-8 & 9 Max. They have 767-3 but they use those on larger further routes. So it will be standard business-class seating, not lie-flat beds. I'd probably still opt for United or American via NYC on a wide-body for the overnight. Same issue I had with the LGW-CLE B757 service from Continental years ago. But--glad to hear they are coming to CLE. Should be great for leisure passengers and others who aren't as picky as me! :)

Cleveland: Downtown: nuCLEus
Cleveland hasn't seen growth like Dallas or Austin since the 1920's. It may never again, though I hope for the best. Until then, we have to get creative to get things done and try to get some kind of synergy going. And in the meantime, the construction provides good ole' Cleveland blue collar jobs. So why not?

employee Oh, I thought that was Electrical Engineers.... I actually thought it might be "Existing Employee", as in none of these hordes of Valspar peeps being transferred in from MSP.

Cleveland: Edgewater Park
This just gave me an idea--what if the Metroparks cut a deal with Edgewater yacht club for a single dock and access through a gate. Then they could run their water taxi service from the Flats, enable people to use the Waterfront Line connecting to the river taxi to the park. Only hangup would be the stupid NS rail bridge at the mouth of the river.

Cleveland Burke Lakefront Airport
County (KCGF) was closed for the summer, which definitely increased operations at Burke. I believe it has just reopened.

Cleveland: Rocket Arena (Gund Arena)
No, the people challenging this are sick and tired of living in neighborhoods that have been facing decades and decades of neglect and disinvestment, while we have been subsidizing millionaires/billionaires with sweet stadium deals. If you go outside of downtown, University Circle, Ohio City, and a few other neighborhoods, you'll see that Cleveland is very much not in a "comeback" but we are still continuing to bleed population and are faced with huge issues of infant mortality, lead poisoning, poverty, etc. I think people can have disagreements over this issue, but I don't think you should be disparaging people's motives when you don't really know what's going on. So what do you think will happen? Dan Gilbert reaches in his pocket and sends money to the neighborhoods? The Cavs stay in an older arena forever and the admissions taxes flow like rivers to Glenville and Hough? It's not going to happen! The Q is a job creator. Maybe not the kinds of jobs you fancy, but the kinds that give people in Cleveland's neighborhoods a chance to make money.

They voted on a motion "hypothetical" magnet school for the blind musical software coders on the Nucleus site. Surely a financial boon to the district.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
Yes, we all know the current situation. The passenger count is up 17% since 2015, and we've added a healthy number of non-stop flights. I'm so embarrassed! When does it get embarrassing? Euro service to Omaha? Winnipeg? Buffalo? At what point? You realize, we're almost there. Buffalo could happen before you know it--it sees huge numbers of Canadians who find it easier, and cheaper, to drive over the border to Buffalo rather than go to YYZ for high fares and insane traffic getting there.
