  1. Cleveland State has also been advertising in Western New York for quite a few years--I have seen quite a few of the NY plate owners that look to be college-aged. It's unfortunate for them that the new (hideous) orange NY plates are not far off from the Ohio "I got too many DUI" plates.

I'll take the wait...as long as Lue, LeBron and the gang are spending hours with film working up schemes to disrupt and dismantle Golden State. Is it too early to take a poll on attendance for the 2nd championship parade? :drunk:
  3. I wonder if the Trinity site further up Detroit is cleaned up enough to host a school?
  4. Seriously--for the money the feds put into this place they could have built a new tower and sold off this one to a developer for $1 to clean up and convert to residential!
  5. The other big story is that the burbs are booming due to lack of housing choices in the central cities. This may be a case of build it and they will come. Austin is a bad example as it is tainted by Texas state politics. Much like here in Ohio, the rural legislators like to stick it to cities--and Austin as a "Libtard Zone" is right in their cross-hairs.
  6. This is the toughest time for me...what to buy when the market is at a record high!
  7. LOOK: Johnny Manziel gets in a workout with Giants' Odell Beckham Jr. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/look-johnny-manziel-gets-in-a-workout-with-giants-odell-beckham-jr/?ftag=SPM-05-10abb2i&utm_campaign=trueAnthem%3A+Trending+Content&utm_content=5925af2f04d3010936776f49&utm_medium=trueAnthem&utm_source=facebook
  8. That would give Cleveland more than one as well, with AT&T and Huntington

I'm not opposed to taxis on Uber. In several cities, they are the lowest-priced option on Uber (Toronto comes to mind). The Uber fare is the same that would have been on the meter, but you get to pay with your app.

There we go! Great come from behind at home tonight. I have a feeling another Boston CLEparty is waiting to happen Thursday at the Gahhhhden.

Amen. As someone who travels nationally and internationally Uber is a lifesaver. The drivers can control their own destiny. If every driver stayed home for a day I bet Uber would take notice.
  12. IMO a water would be better operated as a subsidized service via the Port Authority or even RTA. It would be a great place for a company like Sherwin Williams to step in and provide funding for free taxi and waterfront line service.

They are so bad when they get sloppy. Half the team couldn't even dribble without the ball going off their knee, etc. This is the first playoff game I've watched in entirety....I'll take the blame!
  14. I love the lights on the walkway railing at night. Should look great when the entire project is done.
  15. I'm sure it's not as easy as it sounds. If it were, the Metroparks would do it. There has to be demand for the service. Then of course operating a commercial service to multiple destinations with boatloads of people on a shipping lane with 600' lake freighters is not without regulatory hurdles.
  16. Chasing a suspect into Times Square is downright dangerous.
  17. I'm down with that, but would also take a dozen 20 story apartment/condo towers as well.
  18. Frank doesn't even do twitter does he? His parody account is pretty spot-on though.
  19. Where does the 55 CSU line stack up? I'm surprised it isn't over 1 million.
  20. Then you should tell the private sector sponsors of the free routes to stop sponsoring them to make them free. The downtown businesses approached RTA about creating the services, not the other way around. They are entitled to cl fund transportation that supports their businesses. Exactly. How much would the Waterfront Line cost to operate it's current schedule for a year. Maybe Ernst & Young would step up to the plate.
  21. I ate lunch there one day last week and the place was filled with airport employees, including Fred Szabo. Definitely an upgrade from Panini.
  22. Or replace Masters Auto Sales on Detroit at West 49th with something more attractive. But I doubt that will happen for a long time now that the new West Side High School appears to be a foregone conclusion. The CMSD is making such a huge mistake. I wonder if the old Midland steel site further up Detroit has been cleaned up enough to have a school? It would be closer to the red line for students.

A little shaky in game 4 today, but still moving on! 8 more wins to repeat!

That's ridiculous. There's far less at stake by having a felon firefighter. What are they going to do? Steal the keys and run off with a fire truck? I don't like the idea of a felon mayor but I like the idea of everyone being given a shot to win. Prohibiting felons from running, sort of undermines the whole concept of democracy. Just ask Detroit....

Yeah as bad as Frank Jackson is, we don't want Johnson.
