I feel that. I'm pretty sure that if all thesee folks had to walk more than a block, they would keel over and die. When I did jury duty last year I rode the rapid in, but most of my fellow jurors were parking in "the pit." And yes, you're correct--they didn't stop talking about how bad downtown is and how far they had to walk until at least lunchtime....

This has worked very well throughout history. I actually think zoning, or at least the day to day enforcement of it, is one thing government does good. The planning commission has regular meetings, keeps things public, and does their job from what I can tell. It is a completely different story in Cleveland for changing zoning laws to adapt to the times, or the day-to-day mundane functions of government like waste collection or snow removal. :whip:

Almost any building built in any city in America is subject to review for the developer to receive it's permits. Just imagine if Stark wanted to make a 55 story copy of Rhodes Tower or the Justice Center. Would you let him do that without review? :laugh:

Allegiant Air operates one of the oldest commercial fleets in this country. This MD88 was put into service in 1989. While not inherently unsafe due to age, you have to figure there is a couple bad apples floating around.

That's a good point, too. Maybe if non-residents were given a voice, certain priorities might change (for better or worse). But this could hurt Cleveland if a suburban agenda was inserted into our fabric (more than it already has been). The real solution is a pooling of all tax dollars, with an equitable distribution. Suburbanites make more money here, but also drive on the roads, and we finance the highways to get them to the city roads. All this doesn't fall from the sky....

There are already 4 retail spaces in Battery Park. I didn't say there wasn't. Obviously the Battery Park Powerhouse is a part of the development.
