Truth. You can't even carry a purse into a NFL game. You have to have a clear plastic bag.

Akron: Historic Photos
I was there. My grandmother was honored that day as a World War II vet and former nurse at this very airdock at Fulton.

Cleveland: Historic Photos
Makes me sad. Cleveland was like the 5th largest city in the country and a leader in the aviation universe. If I were mayor today I wouldn't be talking about getting rid of Burke Lakefront. I would be promoting Cleveland and it's unique downtown airport to aviation technology companies to use a a test bed for the coming-soon VTOL/electric taxi business.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
They cater to the suburban crowd with ample parking. Plus its a non-union house for labor, so they can undercut the downtown convention center.
-
Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Stadiums do not make for good convention venues. They are too big, and the ceilings too high. However, convention centers attached to stadiums make great ancillary space for large scale events (NCAA championshipes, national political conventions, etc).

Even better when they are parked in bumper to bumper traffic because a truck load of lettuce flipped over on the I5...

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
I'm in Nashville for work for the week and it's a $hitshow here. If ever a town needed a good rail transit system, this is it. And from talking to the locals there is no political will or interest. Hopefully some of the minimal TOD on the RTA system generates interest and gets people on the trains with a voice to demand improvements in Cleveland.

If actually completed it will be HUGGGGEEEE

Lakewood: Downtown: CASTO Development
Or a Fazios? in all seriousness, I think Dave's does a good job in the "urban" format. They would do a great job in downtown Lakewood and compliment the Lucky's/Daves at 116th/Clifton.

Lakewood: Downtown: CASTO Development
I'm in Nashville for work and can hear the Lakewood NIMBY block club panties bunching up from here.

Along with "The Greyhound," a 30 story neo-deco apartment tower.

Cleveland: Cleveland State University: Development and News
Sounds like a great reason to put up a couple more 30 story dorm towers on campus!

I thought I saw the tickets are all sold out. Sold out within an hour on the first day.

Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
I can't imagine what would be so out of sorts from the original engineering that they would have to close the river?

Suburban Cleveland: Development and News
I weep for our future, as we become a country of hermits, hiding in our basements on zoom calls, ordering tchotchke via Amazon, food via Door Dash, all while polishing our AR-15's in the gun locker. It should be stressed that this is largely an American problem. People in Europe, Asia and Australia are still more likely to go to work in an office, shop in malls, and get out and interact with fellow humans.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
People let's not forget Sherwin Williams has ANOTHER HQ going up in Cleveland. Current progress on the Sherwin Williams Corporate Aviation HQ at CLE. 😜 (sorry for the poor pic quality through my windshield!)

Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
I think they would have to allow vehicle access as there are loading docks and parking entrances off there.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
This to me is a home run. There has to be some clever developer and city employees who can figure out a public/private scheme to make this happen? Maybe the city gives the land for free, and gets the building for $1 after 50 years? Something along the lines of the County HQ building deal?

Cleveland: Random Development and News
Cleveland used to have quite the cover band scene. It has slowly gone away since the 1990s. What would it take to jump start this again? Figure out how to pay musicians a decent wage for playing these gigs. Nashville musicians are pros--that's all they do.

Cleveland: Random Development and News
At 5th/Broadway most are visitors except on game nights. Most locals don't want to go near that mayhem. As an aside, I just looked it up and was surprised to learn there are 20,000 + residents in Nashville downtown and the Gulch.

Detroit: Developments and News
Residential would be amazing--I was once upgraded to the Presidential Suite at the Marriott there years ago. Four bedrooms, grand piano and I could have probably seen Cleveland on a clear day...

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
I don't know where you're pulling this from, but it's not accurate. Taylor Swift wasn't there on April 25--she is there three nights in November: https://www.lucasoilstadium.com/events-tickets/ It also looks as though it's pulling convention center events. For instance Brick Fest Live is actually in Exhibit Halls D & E of the convention center: https://www.icclos.com/event/brick-fest-live-2/
