Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field
Because the team colors changed. I would call the new seats "Wine" I like the blue seats, and once the green are gone it will look very sharp.

I have also been told that the Bibb administration is about to do a full rollout of the former 311 system that was a joke under Jackson. In the meantime, there is an active email address to address requests for city maintenance: [email protected]

Cleveland: Historic Photos
It was a great time to be alive and in your 20's! Cleveland missed the opportunity to become the New Orleans of the North. Should have put a big hotel and casino on the Powerhouse property, hire hundreds of off-duty cops and keep the party going.

Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
With the only difference being they tend to be underground, not built by the lowest bidder using watered-down concrete., and they don't need to be able to fit Escalades and F 350's in them. Agree with the rest of your sentiments though!

Not with Dallas-based Southwest Airlines and it's 128 weekly flights between Dallas and Houston buying up the legislature!

NCAA Men's Basketball: General News & Discussion
If that starts happening every year the money will follow. I think unless there is another Caitlin Clark storyline that comes along next year, we'll see it swing back the other direction.

Imagine such a place downtown and central to the entire region. Stadium with Browns offices, practice facilities and a youth sports complex all wrapped up into one.

Lakewood: Development and News
Good to know. I love Cleveland Bagels.... but hate the wait time to get one most any morning. They need to ditch the hipster staff and bring in a crew of immigrant guys like you see in NYC! The kind where you are in and out in 30 seconds, still trying to put your credit card away while they are shoving a hot coffee and bagel in your hand! 😁

It won't. It's a suburban SIM city mentality. But the same guys on 92.3 the fan saying "they should make it like Crocker Park" are the same guys that only go to Crocker Park once a year and then complain about it.

My parents reminded me of this how they bought pieces of glass for our family to look through then it was mostly cloudy in Cleveland that day LOL. At least we got great weather in 2024!

Jerry Jones in Dallas would be the only example that I'm aware of.

Cleveland: Downtown: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Expansion
It was pretty crazy down there with all the network satellite trucks, etc. I really like when they close off Erieside to traffic. Just imagine what a land bridge and Shoreway boulevard might do to help it.

A look at the Lucas Oil Stadium calendar--8 events between now and 2029 (not counting Colts). It helps that Indy is home base for the NCAA and also the state capitol. Also--until ALL stadiums are domes, it doesn't' necessary help get on concert routings. Domed stadiums just get the late spring and fall dates. The summer is filled with open-air stadiums.

Cleveland: Port Authority News & Info
Yeah it looks like she was due there several times over the past few days. I think she does ferry runs from Lorain or something? But if parked off the harbor the last two days the schedule must be really backed up. PS--thanks for that port schedule site--didn't know it existed!

Cleveland: Port Authority News & Info
Are there any UO members that are knowledgeable on the maritime industry? I've noticed over the last week multiple ships anchored off the Port of Cleveland, which is something I've never noticed in the past. For instance yesterday there were two ships about a mile off the mouth of the river. American Courage was one of them, and is still out there. Any idea why they are parking out there for so long? Are they waiting their turn to get up the river?

Driving by BKL there was probably 40-50 private aircraft parked at Signature.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
Is anything on the minds of anyone at RTA? Besides waiting for their next paycheck to show up and doing as little as possible while they wait?

Allegiant is on the Vegas strip? While not "downtown" Vegas, I wouldn't call it suburban either...

We also don't have nearly enough hotel rooms.

To be fair, it's a "Pre-Release Center" for female prisoners about to be transitioned back into society. So that counts as residential in the stadium village, RIGHT?
