Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
In all the great cites of the world, there are literally hundreds of thousands of buildings without public interaction. I don't see what the outrage is here. I would prefer that SW had ground floor retail etc but in the end, it's still great to see them investing in downtown Cleveland. Hopefully this will spur more developement with street level presence.

The Official *I Love Cleveland* Thread
I wonder what the stats are on customers who were successfully able to prove that they used Sohio fuel and had to be towed due to "fuel line freeze-up"? 🤣 I put it near single digits.

New Albany: Ohio One (Intel Semiconductor Facility)
Cleburger replied to cbussoccer's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionOne of my son's friends took up welding in a vocational school. He's 2 years out of high school making $110K/year because he's young and free and willing to travel. Of course he's blowing all his money on motorcycles and a new pickup truck etc because he has no financial skills either! Back to INtel....

Could be a QB controversy in week 13 if Brissett keeps winning and Jimmy has to force his $250 million massage client into games.

Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
I wonder how the floor plates differ from M&T in Buffalo to the JC in Cleveland? From afar they seem similar sized structures?

Cleveland: Zoning Discussion
Maybe Justin Bibb should take a quick trip up to Buffalo to check in? How zoning reform has helped to turn Buffalo around The New York Times recently reported on Buffalo’s “other story,” an unexpected and dramatic increase in population in the last decade, the first time this had happened in 70 years. The “other story” in the Times headline is a reference to the Buffalo shooting, which brought weeks of negative media coverage to Buffalo earlier this year. I believe I remember seeing that on a billboard up in BUF

Walkable Communities
Spotted in Nasvhille, one of America's thriving "boom towns" with little public transit options. Here they just put up warning signs that pedestrians should be more responsible for their actions.

Cleveland: Population Trends
Judging by the number of Bills Mafia license plates frames and flags in my neighborhood (my wife included) I would say this is accurate. I do know from being up in Buffalo that Cleveland State was running billboards and other ad campaigns up there to convince young folks to come to Cleveland.

Cleveland: Population Trends
I just had an insurance claim due to a weather event. The insurance adjuster told me that if my 110 year old house would have been a new build Ryan Home, the damage would have been 5x as bad.

Cleveland: Population Trends
Mayor Bibb should use ARP funds to establish a program for people who buy and renovate existing homes in the city of Cleveland. It would certainly have more long term effects than using the funds to give all the bloated city payroll raises.

2022 U.S. Senate Race
I'm not a fan of this term. I don't think Ohio has "shifted" to the right. I think it has "defaulted" to the right, thanks to an aging population and the younger liberal crowd moving out for the big coastal cities.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Sorry didn't mean to take this off-topic with the Justice Center. Was more a statement about the sea of parking lots. We should continue if necessary:

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
IMO the new Justice Center will end up on one of these. There is no way all the attorneys located in the current area are going to let it move very far.

2022 U.S. Senate Race
It's going to come down to turnout as always. If the urban areas turn out, Ryan has a shot. With Ohio's early voting and absentee rules, there is no excuse for our abysmal turnout.
