Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
Burke would actually be an asset for the Super Bowl as it has much more flexibility and capacity for p-jet parking than Hopkins. For the larger events in town, they close down the secondary runway 6R/24L and turn that into additional parking. I've seen it full before during the Rock Hall inductions and other big weekends (World Series, etc)

Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
If ramming into a small area, I'd rather see this on the Post Office site, though I'm sure the Postal unions would fight any move to Brookpark further delaying such a swap.

Another great reason for the Scranton canals!

Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway: Westinghouse Redevelopment
I'm really rooting for this one.

New York City: Developments and News
I don't know about everyone else, but I love this stuff. It's sort of haunting knowing these people have lived their lives and are long gone. A blip in time...

Cleveland: Scranton Peninsula: Development and News
Looks like a great setting to have a canal cut through the peninsula. Make it a boating destination as well!

Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
Clearly payback for when the owner boys club prevented him from buying the Buffalo Bills.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
Will miss Levert and Niang, but this seems like a pretty good deal for the Cavs, especially coming from a Hawks team that had their number!

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Especially if sold to a local ownership group...or even local by proxy (looking at you Dan Gilbert!)

Other States: Passenger Rail News
It feels like the Musk administration will set your timeline back even further. They appear to be targeting cities "aka Democrat strongholds" for many forms of funding.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
I didn't even know it was there. Will have to stop in i usually hit the one by CWRU when I'm in that area around lunch.

Cleveland Burke Lakefront Airport
Cleveland should take note of this development at Lunken (especially with Cleveland hotels allegedly doing great business). A boutique hotel at Burke combined with a greenway around the outer edge of the airport property (waterfront) is an excellent start to reimagining the land use of Burke, without having to fight the FAA for closure.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
There's probably even a cheaper way which would involve the drivers having a cheap phone on them with a tracking app.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
If aviation is any indicator, then no age does not have anything to do with it. Most of the general aviation training fleet was built in 1960-1980, and they've all had ADSB GPS antennae added to them. Anything that touches an airplane you can automatically multiply the price by at least double. I would think you could put an antenna on a train for less than $1000 per unit.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
They are no better football people than they were truckstop trust fund babies. The ideal situation would be for them to sell the team to an owner with ties to Cleveland who would be interested in cultivating a civic asset.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Myles Garrett requesting trade. Truly remarkable that the Browns wasted a generational talent on the Deshaun fiasco. https://www.cleveland.com/browns/2025/02/myles-garrett-requests-trade-from-browns.html?fbclid=IwY2xjawIN0hFleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHQeARUe9znUwKPuc5OFz8ETMEXtHMQGP8ahoHeKX6CfIMKwRw-YeicfSsA_aem_knAwd9WTeY-6uX5aGnpYJQ

In my written interactions with him, Quinn comes off as an angry Trumpy guy. He will respond with a non-professional, gruff email if you send criticism to the editor.

Non-Ohio Light Rail / Streetcar News
Crazy to think that 7 miles is our largest streetcar line. I had to look up other cities in the world and it's astounding. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tram_systems_by_gauge_and_electrification

Not with 2 overnight trains and a second Trump administration... I would love to see it though. Bring in the CVSR and multiple daily Amtraks and we're talking.

Full disclosure: I didn't realize there was a truck park in Beachwood. It's all about the social media. A small investment to share their pictures around the world. Next will be the "angel wings" murals that are all the rage in the hipster cities 😜

Cleveland: Midtown: Development and News
Love it! Looking at old pictures of that block are some of the more painful images of the losses that Cleveland has seen since it's days as a top 10 US city.
