A vote for Kelly is a vote for Frank Jackson Term V. Kevin had every opportunity to try to make a difference as president of council and instead sat on his hands and maintained the status quo. City services are abysmal and he had a large part in creating this culture over the past years. I am taking my chances with Bibb. I hope his first decision is to clean house of all the Jackson cronies running city departments and actually get productivity back from city workers.

Are there any actual Cleveland landlords on here that have gone through this process? I had heard people alluding to this program, but just realized my property (owner occupied duplex) is due to certification this month. I'm not worried about it as I have a well maintained house. However the Cleveland skeptic in me worries this program will be rife with unscrupulous contractors, eager to make some quick bucks. If you have gone through the process, are there any contractors on this list you would recommend? https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WZR6PLHJtxDj4zUPvKvDXwBiom8FzdwfLkBVG19g7bo/edit
  3. Or perhaps a less adventurous version of Pittsburgh's Incline transport?
  4. New Cuyahoga County property tax valuations are out, causing lots of fuming on neighborhood Facebook groups. My home valuation went up 29%. Not sure if I'm going to fight it--it appears that letters can be submitted after January 1. I think the County is going to be overwhelmed with requests...
  5. Oh I get it. I had family in Warren MI so growing up we spent every Thanksgiving at the Silverdome. I have a soft spot in my heart for the Lions.
  6. Those poor Detroit Lions can't ever catch a break....they are the new Browns

We can have 70,000 unmasked fans for a Browns game but they can't host a few hundred masked constituents politely listening to a debate?
  9. Have you uploaded these photos anywhere on UO before?
  10. Amen. I will send a donation tonight!

Sad percentages to be described as "huge" and "high." 😐
  15. Welp that was the first L. But it was a hard fought game lost by the Browns due to mistakes of young players. I'm almost glad they did lose a close game as the post season will almost certainly include a rematch with the Chiefs.
  16. RTA is so bad at the basics....
  17. It would be great if CVSR had one of these in inventory full time. Great tourist draw.
  18. Wow for all the hype happening in the local and national media surrounding the Browns, it's quiet on here! Let's have some U-O season predictions here. I'm going 12-5 and a visit to the AFC Championship game.
  19. Way before you were born, I assume? 😀
  20. Sorry typo. WOULD NOT.
  21. The EMAS wasn't added to the end of 6L because there is plenty of land for run off there and there is no precision approach procedure as there is on 24R. Landfill would be needed if you could do a pier-over water bike/pedway as depicted:
  22. He hasn't met the Richmond Heights and Willoughby Hills (lake county) NIMBY's yet. They aren't going to let any expansion of CGF happen.
  23. Funny they didn't take her on the Waterfront Line to see the ailing bridge?
  24. Posted on the Cleveland Architectural Legacy Facebook group today. Public Square in 1940. But buses should have to go around the square....pffffttt.
