  1. If done correctly they could have parked cars on the greenspace on game days and left the other 355 days to public access. But there is the whole liability problem as well.....
  2. To be fair, it was an abandoned single-story warehouse on the site prior to the NFL draft. So at least the parking was not put in place of a salvageable building.
  3. Or the old curved channel could be left as is, but crossed with much lower bridges that are bike/pedestrian friendly since they only need allow the pleasure craft to clear under them. It would be a great "lagoon" for rowing, etc.
  4. You know what this patio is all about...

This morning I was searching for news of a young girl hit on Lorain near 65th yesterday. I didn't find any update on her condition, but in the meantime I found this article from February, which I hadn't seen at the time. This pedestrian was hit in a crosswalk in Lakewood by a driver turning into an oncoming lane, cited and found guilty. I'm guessing the driver was connected to someone, but there is no mention of their name in either the article or the court records. From what I can see on the video, if you live in Lakewood (a very walkable city) be warned. You could be nearly killed in a crosswalk and be found at fault. I wonder if he'll be able to collect a pension on his double dip second salary.

Amongst the many others. The main reason I don't want to vote for Nina is I don't want another member of Congress from Ohio becoming a laughingstock for their non-stop publicity stunts and controversial tweets(Jim Jordan, cough cough). I want to vote for a representative who is going to Washington to put in the hard work of governing.
  8. It's absolutely shameful that in 2021 RTA doesn't have this tech.
  9. Cincinnati has all molars. Cleveland has a few molars and 3 jagged incisors. A fourth would put us closer to a full mouth.
  10. Over the past few years I've seen quotes in the media from the Sockalexis' descendants saying they were ok with the name as long as the Wahoo logo was gone, as well as several editorials in support of the Indians name, as long as there was money funneled to scholarships and education. If native groups in support of the name were more vocal then they would have garnered much more attention. The fact of the matter is there just wasn't that much support from native groups in favor of keeping the name.

Has anyone seen any polling on this race? I googled to answer my own question! Brown is closing in on Turner, close to the margin of error according to this recent poll: Shontel Brown gaining ground against Nina Turner in Ohio: poll https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/564497-shontel-brown-gaining-ground-against-nina-turner-in-ohio-poll
  12. Now all ownership needs to do is spend some payroll, field a championship caliber team and win a World Series. The Indians name would soon be forgotten, and Guardians swag sales will be epic.

Recent data is not supporting this hypothesis. States cutting unemployment benefits didn’t get people back to work, study finds https://www.cnbc.com/2021/07/22/cuts-to-unemployment-benefits-didnt-get-people-back-to-work-study-finds.html
  16. ^^Does this Masonic Center have a small theater/auditorium component to it? Many built in this time period did. I could not access the paid article to read more about it.
  17. Based on this schedule we should just be tailgating in one of the surrounding parking lots! Does anyone have a Browns RV?
  18. This KCLE based frequent flyer was debating about switching from United to Delta. But between United's new plane purchases and this news maybe I'll stick around and see how it goes. United Airlines Bets Big On Its Boeing 767 And 777 Fleets United Airlines has held its widebody fleet sacred throughout the crisis. The carrier bucked trends by keeping its fleet intact and prepared to bring those planes out in a robust manner as the crisis subsided and passengers came back. Then, in February, the airline took a hit when a Boeing 777 suffered an engine incident over Denver, which later led to the temporary grounding of 52 Pratt & Whitney-powered Boeing 777s. To compensate, the airline brought back more 767s, and now, it continues to bet big on both fleets. https://simpleflying.com/united-bets-big-767-777
  19. Tis huge money at stake. I don't blame them. It's their league and make the rules. If the players don't want to get vaccinated, they can run the risk of letting down an entire team and city, or go play for another football league where anything goes.
  20. I walked through there today there is no parking. It seems like it is marked, but it is too narrow for parked cars.

I was just glad to see two "non-super teams" in the finals. Hopefully this starts to break up these groupings of aging superstars.
  22. I've driven through a bazillion times, but never stopped. I just may have to one of these trips after seeing your photos.

The middlemen have actually figured it out, as witnessed in RIAA data. There is some debate as to what constitutes "non value added," but the major labels and heavy hitter managers and agents are still very much in the game (especially when touring income and merchandise are factored in). https://www.riaa.com/u-s-sales-database/
