Or worse. I could see Ohio elevating a super Trumpy Senator ala Hawley

Just like the suburbs, the Southern States like to think that this isn't socialism or welfare when it benefits them.
  3. Another pro tip: Elon Musk likes to sign onto things that already exist: http://www.portofmiamitunnel.com Let's face it anyway--tunnels are expensive and only get built in cities in Europe, Asia, and Australia where they don't spend 1 Trillion on a defense industry.
  4. Or it's costing RTA more in collection and enforcement than they are collecting.

I don't think Portman is worried about a legacy. He is 65, "retiring" a millionaire and will still have plenty of passive income via K street.

It's the weight of his second and third chins. They pull down on his jaw and distort his KEN-TUCK-AH accent.
  8. We have a 5,000 seat venue on the river in the flats

One could even argue that Mahomes has not been the same since the Mack Wilson hit in the Browns game.

I'd like to see the age demographics of these people leaving. I personally 5+ boomers who are cashing out of their California homes for a downsized retirement in states with cheaper real estate.
  11. With the collection technology today there is no reason we can't be adding more tolls into our highway system. It's actually something the state needs to be more forward thinking about, as more and more EV's drive on roads without paying gas taxes. This would free up more funds for our mass transit systems.
  12. Parking was never free at the IX Center either. SOMEONE paid for it (as in the instance of the auto show, the Cleveland Auto Dealers Association provided parking).
  13. Why is that? Because of the couple people at Tower City?

I haven't looked at the coin scene in a couple years. Do you still have to trade on Coinbase or similar and use digital wallets? Or are the big players in the game now to just buy through the normal platforms?

He doesn't even live here anymore does he? I thought he moved to California years ago when his national star was at it's peak?
  16. All aviation related businesses use the ICAO code. Three letter identifiers always have the "K" prefix in the lower 48 states. Alaska and Hawaii gets a "P".
  17. I never understood the Dream out at 36th and Euclid anyway. They generally like to be in the center of the action. A while back had a source who said they were looking at a location on W St Clair. Maybe that will come back to life with Sherwin Williams.
  18. New GA facility at KCVG adds Customs clearance The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (KCVG) is now a direct international destination for general aviation aircraft thanks to the addition of on-demand, onsite U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) clearance at Wheels Up Jet Center, an FBO at the airport. https://generalaviationnews.com/2021/02/03/new-ga-facility-at-kcvg-adds-customs-clearance/?utm_source=TPOA&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=20210204
  19. We can only hope that these will continue to spread up and down Detroit! Just imagine the patios that could be created through the sections with lake views!
  20. But then again, Budish could be onto something here: Prisoner transport trains to the new Justice Center and Courts Tower on the riverfront. A siding could take the train directly into a secure station under the courts tower. It could also be an additional source of funding for rail upgrades, and provides a safer and more predictable scheduling to make sure they arrive on time for their hearings. Bailiffs could schedule them on trains based on a timetable. It wouldn't be the first time trains were used for this purpose. In searching I found this photo, of prisoners on their way to Alcatraz, via train, then barge!
  21. This is great news. Flexjet already has quite a few buildings on the airport property and this will surely be the crown jewel. The City of Cleveland should take notice and try to attract a similar business to BKL. There is a ton of open land, freeway and downtown access, and the planes would be based within a 2 hour flight of most of the population of North America. Here's to a potential Bibb administration (or any other mayor that is not asleep at the wheel).

Thanks fellas will give them a shot.
  23. Very true. Insurance covers the property damage and inventory loss, but does nothing to replace customers lost to the COVID pandemic.
  24. Agreed. Take a look at the website for any of the domed stadiums and the calendar is filled up more weddings and barmitzvahs than major events (which of course we all want in Cleveland). Like Indy, we could do a direct connection to the Convention Center via the new land bridge/intermodal transport center, which could bump up the event count, even if they are smaller sized.

If he did hurt himself, I wouldn't blame him. She is 🔥 x 10!
