  1. If he does it now, it would be topic #15,000. 😀
  2. The only difference heading west is there are some MEGA estates. One on Harborview in Cleveland recently sold for $5 million plus. I'm sure Bratenhal would have a similar pushback.
  3. When we finally get back to "normal," a pilot shortage will be a hurdle for the airlines. Hopefully they will spend the money on training to get the ones coming back current, rather than waiting until they need them. More than half of world's airline pilots no longer flying-survey Jan 29 (Reuters) - More than half of the world's airline pilots are no longer flying for a living amid the plunge in demand during the coronavirus pandemic, according to a new survey, and those that are still flying feel less valued by their employers. https://news.trust.org/item/20210128145935-ldwxq
  4. There are not very many private docks on those bluffs. No boats would survive.
  5. I'll be interested to see if the wealthy lakefront homeowners from Edgewater on west through the burbs show up to oppose this. On one hand they could gain free break walls and erosion protection, but they will also have the commoners rollerblading through their backyards.
  6. Right--and with anger being directed at Robinhood right now, I wouldn't be surprised to see lots of users pulling their accounts and moving elsewhere.
  7. Just curious is it more expensive port-to-port? Or more expensive even after factoring truck/rail freight from NY ports to final destination?
  8. I'm not sure how that works. I'm sure the city has someone. I'm also sure that person is not very proactive....
  9. It is still connected--the lower level under the arena has always had meeting rooms. https://www.clevelandconventions.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Public-Auditorium-Cap-Chart-and-Floorplan.pdf
  10. I agree. We have a GM now that seems to be over achieving. I would use OBJ to stock up on some depth where we need it with existing players and draft picks.
  11. If it is it's a train trip around the field as they are located on opposite sides.
  12. Also Sun Country uses the older Terminal 2 at MSP, along with Southwest. So if you miss a connection and are stuck there, it's not quite as nice as Terminal 1.
  13. However skiing in Cleveland is like apples to oranges. Its typically very icy here, which in some ways is a great way to learn if you grow up skiing on it. But for a beginner on day one, it's less than ideal, especially for snowboard students. With this being said I am with you 100% pro Cleveland tourism and welcome the Vail Resorts marketing. Let everyone come ski our ice!
  14. That's like attracting a family from Kansas for surfing on Lake Erie! I'm glad they came here, but really they should expand their horizons!
  15. Yeah 4 beds would be a tough sell unless the price is right!
  16. Along with exceptional liability insurance. Anyone who's ever been to a dog park know there are varying degrees of dog owner discipline. I'm sure there will be owners and patrons lawyering up!
  17. It has been great seeing the wide bodies back at CLE daily!
  18. I'll be anxiously awaiting video of the throngs of maskless Biden supporters departing the inauguration day festivities with light projections of "Biden 2020" on the cabin ceiling all while chanting "BIDEN! BIDEN! BIDEN..."
  19. I don't disagree at all, rather just pointing out there would be considerable pushback. This is Cleveland, where concrete barriers are necessary to protect Public Square from the hordes of terrorists on Superior Ave, yet a would-be attacker could launch a truck northbound from Ontario with ease.... 🤦‍♂️
  20. One big issue I can see with this is routing hundreds of trucks daily directly through the Garret Morgan water plant. With the national obsession with terrorist attacks on infrastructure, I can't see this being approved.
  21. What are we going to name that play? The Fumble. The Drive. The Helmet at the Pylon?
  22. I assume you mean the Main Ave Bridge? Veteran's Memorial is actually the Detroit-Superior. But I'm with ya!
  23. Yabo we still love ya. Looking forward to the post mortem. The future is bright. After a dismal first half, this team fought back and made it a game. We can look forward to the draft and a competitive 2021-2022 season.
  24. Agreed--Buffalo fans are polite and show a kinship to Browns fans. For years they have worried about losing their small market team, and welcomed Browns fans up to tailgate in our 1990's absence from the league. My worst experience BY FAR was Philly fans. Brutal.
