Clinton v. Obama
Not voting on someone just because they have jubilant volunteers? I really hope that's not the only reason why. That's like not wanting a cancer cure just because it taste like raspberry. ;-)

Would you attend UrbanOhio mid-size city meets?
So, is this going to actually turn out to be a meet? Or is this just a poll?

Saturn (Car) Issues
Why? Did Chris drive his Saturn car to planet Saturn? Maybe he should have taken the trolley. :jo:

I've actually never been to Portsmouth or Ironton believe it or not. So I would be inclined to travel there for a meet.

Ohio ethanol production
and a bit more... Questions tarnish ethanol's golden glow Higher corn prices, a new look at environmental concerns are leading to criticism of the fuel. By Ben Sutherly Staff Writer Sunday, March 02, 2008 DAYTON — Not so long ago, when ethanol prices soared and prices for corn were low, some ethanol plants briefly had whopping annual returns on investment of 150 percent. These days, with corn prices much higher, those ethanol plants' annual returns on investment are more modest — 15 percent to 25 percent, said Dwayne Siekman, executive director of the Ohio Corn Growers Association. But those returns are sustainable, he said. More at: http://www.daytondailynews.com/b/content/oh/story/business/2008/03/01/ddn030208ethanolside.html

Would you attend UrbanOhio mid-size city meets?
I would attend one, but would need adequate time to prepare...like maybe 2 hours in advance ;-)

Saturn (Car) Issues
Well, there are some tricks you can do if you guys are having constant o2 issues. One is to get an o2 sensor simulator. You plug it in place of your o2 sensor and it sends a false voltage reading to your computer tricking it into thinking the o2 sensor is fine. The other cheaper versions is a "mechanical" o2 simulator. This is a spark plug anti-oil fouler you can buy in the Help! section for a couple bucks. Thread it in place of the o2 sensor and then thread the o2 sensor into that. What it does is move the o2 sensor away from the exhaust stream, making it read less carbon monoxide and sends that reading to the computer. These are old tricks that car tuners use to put headers, turbo's and straight pipes on computerized controlled cars and it enables the computer to see nothing wrong and even pass emissions. Not that it's really a repair and I don't recommend it except as a temporary or last resort. But they do work ;-)

BTW, oxygen sensors are one of the sensitive sensors on your engine. If your car has not been tuned up in a while, have not changed oil in a long time (thinning oil blows by piston rings easier) or use poor gas, these can all make o2 sensors fail prematurely. Make sure you keep your car in tune ;-)

Chris, if this is a recall issue, then print out the service bulletin and take it to the dealership with you and tell them you want the recall service performed. They have to perform the service free of charge by law if it is a recall issued by the factory. If they refuse or give any hassles, ask to see the manager. If that fails, speak to an attorney regarding the Ohio Lemon Law. Usually 1 call from an attorney will straighten it right up and won't cost a dime.

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
Congratulations guys! I'll say this...with the amount of projects and the money being spent between the Cincinnati and Dayton urban cores over the next few years (not too mention the combined MSA in 2010), this region is going to become THEE place to live and play in the Midwest! I cannot wait to see the end result to all of this. History in the making!

Cincinnati: Downtown: Queen City Square
Thanks for the compliment guys! But I just hacked up the original concept. This is just my idea of a "possible" revision the URD may have suggested to make QCS appear thinner as suggested in the last news article. I am in no way trying to take credit or taking anything away from the original architect's design. Any which way QCS gets finalized is more than good enough for me. :-)
