And it's happening at the site of what was one of the community's oldest landmarks. https://www.beaconjournal.com/story/news/2022/01/20/four-housing-developments-mixed-use-building-coming-montrose-fairlawn-rosemont-country-club-site/9115118002/
  13. I was headed to the Akron Children's Museum a couple weeks ago and I always like looking out over Lock 3 from the parking deck. In the back left you can see they are working on the building on Bowery St. that Akron Children's Hospital took ownership of. Might be abatement for demo? I seem to think that was the plan. Put a surface lot in. But I could be mistaken.

After a bit of digging online, I found Screen Suites, and boy did it deliver on all fronts. At this point you’re probably wondering, “What in the world is a screen suite?” Essentially, it’s a private suite with its own dining room, bathroom and high-definition theater – truly a dream come true for those of us who like to try new foods and movies. https://www.beaconjournal.com/story/lifestyle/2021/12/15/screen-suites-akron-elevates-concept-dinner-and-show/6288238001/ This is interesting. Looks like you watch Netflix and have food prepared by the restaurant. Would you pay for this?
