Akron-Canton: Restaurant News & Info
Next chapter coming for Akron's Urban Eats By Dan Shingler June 02, 2017 Akron's getting some new Urban Eats. The little restaurant that could punch above its weight — and did — shut down in mid-May when its founders, chef Jason Scala and partner Liz Tyran, moved to Key West, Fla. But it won't be closed for long. Landlord and downtown Akron developer Tony Troppe said he's already found some new Akronites to reopen the restaurant. He said that will happen sometime later in June. http://www.crainscleveland.com/article/20170602/NEWS/170609953/next-chapter-coming-for-akrons-urban-eats

Akron: East End: Development and News
Not sure what the Innerbelt construction has to do with Highland Sq. If you have seen the plans and the current work being done, basically nothing is changing in terms of traffic patterns. It's more like a road diet. Brewery district would be cool, but there is a better location on Grant St. for that with two brewery's and a brew pub coming online soon. Need more than two to make a district though, IMO. If APS still owns the school building they are required to offer it to charter schools first and then it has to go to public auction. That is why they have historically torn them down, because they don't want charter schools getting them. Cool, thanks!

Akron: East End: Development and News
What do you mean? One developer (IRG) owns the buildings on both sides of the street at East End. I-76 doesn't cut across the East / West boundary until Ellet. E. Market St. extends for a good bit that could be influenced to the East, but hopefully it will go to the West towards Downtown.

Akron-Canton: Restaurant News & Info
You have to hand it to former Mayor, Don Plusqualic. He never did cave in to the powerful and corrupt food truck lobby. #integrity One of the biggest downfalls of Akron and the former cabinet is that they were too afraid to try any, because "what if..." Their logic for not having the food trucks was that it would put the brick and mortar places out of business. Crave Cantina finds a home in Cuyahoga Falls and a Latin concept May 21, 2017 Updated 2 hours ago By JENNIFER KARPUS-ROMAIN Aaron Hervey thinks he has found the ideal location for his newest venture, Crave Cantina. No matter that the site for the new restaurant, which will feature globally inspired tacos and Latin fare, lies right in the middle of the construction zone as Cuyahoga Falls works to open up Front Street to traffic. The work will be right outside Crave Cantina's front door beginning in July, said Hervey, who owns the new spot and the original Crave in Akron with his wife, Dana. Crave Cantina is set open on Tuesday, May 23. http://www.crainscleveland.com/article/20170521/NEWS/170529995/crave-cantina-finds-a-home-in-cuyahoga-falls-and-a-latin-concept

I don't see why it couldn't. The question would be is there demand for it. Seeing as how the Goodyear building filled, I would say there is. Although, I don't understand it.
