Cleveland: Downtown: The Avenue District
I saw something on the news the other night. It looks like 7ish story buildings that surround the perimeter of the site with courtyards in the middle.

Cleveland: Random Development and News
Valley view is being done by Empire construction out of NYC and City Architecture drew the plans. You might be able to find stuff on their websites. Demo is to start next week.

Westlake: Crocker Park
OK. Here's your boutique hotel. I know it's not in the flats, but you got your wish.

Fairview Park: Westgate Mall Development
^That dev in Strongsville is the none by Murphys motel, correct? If so, that area does need a facelift.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Avenue District
^I believe you are talking about the Holiday Inn on Lakeside.

Cleveland: Random Development and News
I think that would be similar to having Mike White as mayor. Alot of projects would go forward that would some how put the city broke. The difference here however is there is alot of private investment being talked about versus all the public investment back in the 90's. More big city investment seems to be in the works.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
I like the Niketown in that picture. That would be cool.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Oh, now I see it. Ontario and Huron. The existing parking garage gave it away.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
I do not understand that Forest City proposal. What streets are those?

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
^I probably haven't heard this since the seventies-early 80's. (Justice Center, Sohio, One Cleveland, and several other buildings along E 9th and 12th). It seems like about every 15 years, a building boom hits Cleveland. That's the way they describe it on the news.

Cleveland: Cuyahoga County Gov't properties disposition (non-Ameritrust)
The detention center is around E 93 and Quincy.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
^I think we need to wait for the convention center for more lodging to pop up. Also, I do not think we should be in this position. The flats should have been built up back in its heyday when it had a big name nationwide. You would not even have to advertise for this developement or look for more money. Hotels and residential would have been major cash back then. But it went to hell, now we are stuck with a risky developement, that still may not happen, that involves tearing buildings down that once brought in tons of money and tourism.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
^It is mixed use. There is more than nightlife incorporated. There are offices for the daytime benifit, restaurants for the nighttime benifit and housing for the 24/7 benifit. That is the whole idea of mixed use....making money at all hours of the day.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
That may be one of the most beautiful developements to ever hit the inner-city.

Covington, KY: The Ascent at Roebling's Bridge
I hate to break it to the guy, but it is going to cost alot more then $40 mill to bulid. Probably double that amount. Especially with the price of steel the days.
-
Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
They probably got bids on the prior design and then put them into re-design due to escalting costs. If something is being redesigned, it means it is being down-sized a bit.

CLEVELAND - Pinnacle update!
Yes, they are on strike and absent from the site. Many of the union construction projects around the city are shutdown. Read the article in Saturdays Plain Dealer and it will tell you more.

CLEVELAND - Pinnacle update!
This will really slow down now with the 310 Laborers on strike.

Cleveland: University Circle: Cleveland Clinic Developments
One million sqft is accurrate. Remember, the center is 3 buildings. I saw that the demo has started, does anyone know if that is almost completed.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
They should probably undercut the slope about 10' and inject lime in it. Fairly cost effective. With the density they assume to have here, it would pay off in the long run. If you can build a shopping center on a sloped landfill (CityView Center in Garfield Heights) I'm sure you can do this. Believe, this is what I do for a living, and if they cancel the project because of this, it would have never gone in the first place. There are always soils issues on sites, especially in the city.

Ohio Cities' Downtown Population
Nice map MGD, but I would consider the Browns stadium, Rock Hall and Great Lakes Science Center Downtown.
-
Toledo: Downtown: ProMedica HQ / Edison Plant Redevelopment
Think of the asbestos that would be needed to be cleaned out of that plant.

Show a pic of yourself!
Is that really grasscat at the race with the 3 shave in his back.

Cleveland Flats / Ohio City Development - Stonebridge
I don't think it is residential. I stated in another threadthat I am 99% sure this is an office developement proposed by Corna.
