  1. Hard to believe the contractor is using all wooden studs for the structure.
  2. I agree with you wimwar. They will need a ton of residential in the Flats to support what they have proposed. The people in the WHD are getting the retail they need right now for their everyday needs. Therefore, I don't see the WHD residents walking down the hill to support the proposed retail in the Flats. I think it will turn into a situation we had 5 to 10 years ago. Both districts thriving and one hanging on in the long run. Back to my point however, if they do incorporate enough residential in the Flats project and slightly downsize the commercial, we could see two thriving districts for years to come that feed off of eachother.

What is the last picture of Penn Circle demonstrate as far as this project goes.
  4. I could just see the city shutting this down because the plan interferes with shifting Rt 2.
  5. What is the project. Is there a specific architect involved, is there a site plan, are there tenents? For a project that has already received funding, and as much as it has, I would have expected to see something by now.
  6. IS that the top floor their begining to frame.
  7. To make a long story short, is this going to hapen or not?

What are they actually doing with the art on the ECP.
  9. Sorry people, I don't know why I read it like that.
  10. I am jealous... Was that coment in reference to me.
  11. I didn't realize that there were enough people in dt Cincy to support that large of a grocer. More power to them.
  12. Really, what the heck are all those yellow poles hanging from the lines and coming out of the ground.
  13. I wonder how much that cost to do.
  14. I would shatter mine so I could super glue it together again. The tackier the better.
  15. I think I want one of those leg lamps. I will admit, my wife and I live in Parma HEIGHTS (I emphasize heights), and my fellow Parma people would probably appreciate one in our front window.
  16. I thought this was kind of funny...and cool at the same time. Really did not know where to post it though. Amanda Garrett Plain Dealer Reporter The captain of a U.S. amphibious assault ship heading to the Middle East noticed the oddball eBay listing halfway around the world. Someone in Cleveland was auctioning the Tremont house that served as a backdrop for the nostalgic holiday classic "A Christmas Story."
  17. Alot of yellow poles sticking out of the ground.
  18. Finally someone is putting a Golf Course in a Lifestyle Center. Actually, this place looks like a country club more however. The placement of those towers is awesome. Really, that does remind me of a Florida developement. IMO, Florida has some of the greatest developement.
  19. Does anyone have access to the full article?

When they say Superior will have the bus lanes only, is that basically just like the ECP.
  21. You need to put things dt that would never open up in the suburbs for them to work out such as HoB, Rainforest Cafes, Planet Hollywoods. Think what would happen to HoB Cleveland if they built one in Strongsville and Westlake. They would never do that but just imagine. It is similar to putting a Fridays or Appelbies dt. Lunch crowds would be good during the week, but you can't survive off that.
  22. Seeing Sherwin Williams in that picture reminds me that they are starting construction on their addition next week. They are adding a three story tech center. You know what this means...MORE JOBS.
  23. I would have to think that people are aprehensive to put affordable housing in an area that is turning into a nice happening spot with yuppies moving in. I like the developement, but I think you could build 200 high end condo's in this area and have no problem selling them.
  24. I am not really for them or against them. I am just more perplexed when I think that this is what it has come to. I wish we had good jobs pouring into the Ohio cities like SanDiego and Seattle does. I wish casino's weren't an issue. But we have to do what we have to do.
