  1. What is the status on that phase of the project MayDay.
  2. Is there a high demand for office space in downtown Cincy. I know in Cleveland right now ther isn't.
  3. You won't have much going on at the street level with that being the first development over there. Bring more and more of that and you will see street interaction. Be patient for the spin-off. Lets just be glad things are happening in the flats.
  4. I read on the Cleveland.com forum that Doug Price, the developer of Stonebridge, is going to be anouncing a Condo project on the East bank. There are no details on it yet. Does anyone know about this. Something like Stonebride "hugging" the river would be nice.
  5. The reason Reid is stepping down is she is about 60 years old and knows that if she extends her contract, it will go through the completion of the construction project. She probably just wants to retire, and if she dosen't do it now, she won't get a chance for the next five years.
  6. The wing in the forground of that rendering has already started. The floor slad and footers are in for that wing. I like how the present museum still will be the focal point from Euclid Avenue. You think anyone will use the new silver line to gat there.
  7. Wow, impressive. Thanks Zaceman. Wonder how the CMA will compare to other art museums after the expansion.
  8. I know it isn't a food rather a condiment, but Stadium Mustard is popular in Cleveland and it is made here. I do not know if you can get it anywhere else. Bertmans can be bought all over the place, but I don't know about Stadium.
  9. Parma perogi's is the best place in Cleveland for them. When Clinton was in office, he ate there three times.
  10. I know this has to be up there as one of the highest dollar amount projects in Ohio, however, does anyone have a list of the largest projects in the state as far as dollar amount. I believe the Maumee river bridge in Toledo is the largest to date.
  11. I'm sorry about that thumbs down. Believe me, I love this project. I just must have hit the icon on accident.
  12. I think perogi's are a popular Cleveland food. Especially in Slavic Village and Parma.

Why do they call that a lifestyle center? When I think lifestyle center, I think small specialty stores set in an urban environment exempt from the normal suburban big box store.
  14. I forgot all about the Ameritrust Building on public square. When did they tear that down?

Mostly filling in steam tunnels with lien concrete as of right now.
  16. I remember reading this a while back. I thought one of the buildings was actually going to be retirement living.
  17. That is mostly CMHA stuff. Be glad it didn't happen. 25th is doing fine right now. There is more developement along there then I would have ever thought 10 years ago.
  18. Welcome Mister Good Day. The foundations are put in with the idea of building a tower. They do not have to add them later. I never knew there was a possibility of adding to the Winking Lizard building. Please share if you have info on that.
  19. The Red Chimney in that shot is a great restaurant. Try the lamb.
  20. It almost seems like the country is out to get Ohio.
  21. Some more great news for Ohio.

As of right now, they have just demolished all the buildings on the site and brought all the fill material in to bring it up to grade. I know demo is done, but I do not know if construction has started yet.

I do not think our education system will improve before this. If any it will improve after due to the increased tax revenues from these new companies.
  24. That would be a nice 100 block long downtown...but I like it.

It almost seems like U Circle will be the new Downtown area in Cleveland ten years from now.
