  1. @LlamaLawyer I asked CCF but didn't get an answer. Last April, the Clinic put out a map with hoped-for delivery dates and said they wanted to deliver this phase of the Pathogens Center by the first quarter of 2025. Considering it would take about 18-24 months to build this structure, I would push back that delivery date by at least six months.
  2. Yup, it's the Clinic's design.... Clinic unveils Innovation District buildings By Ken Prendergast / February 14, 2023 Two years ago, Gov. Mike DeWine announced hundreds of millions of dollars in state money to launch the Cleveland Innovation District — a program to advance health care, research and related activities in the Greater Cleveland area. This week, one of the largest and most visible outcomes of that initiative will be unveiled in the form of plans for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation’s next phase of its Global Center for Pathogen and Human Health Research at its Main Campus in Cleveland’s Fairfax neighborhood. 3. Yup. That's why I picked it for the lead image. Lots of other images in that article. And wouldn't ya know, it appeared here on UO at the bottom of the previous page.... 😤
  4. Bedrock lays out riverfront plan, steps By Ken Prendergast / February 13, 2023 At the City Planning Commission's design-review meeting starting 9 a.m. Friday, representatives of Detroit-based Bedrock are scheduled to present more of its vision for downtown Cleveland's riverfront below Tower City Center. In addition to showing renderings of the buildings and public spaces, Bedrock's architectural team led by Adjaye Associates will lay out a schedule and a menu of items needed for building the infrastructural foundations to support the ambitious riverfront plan. 5. Wow. That Westinghouse water tower building is bigger than I thought. That would make for a very nice two-story restaurant. 😉
  6. On tap for this week's planning commission meeting is Bedrock Cleveland Cuyahoga Riverfront Private Development Plan: Informational Purposes Only. Presenter: Cullen Meves, MKSK. No images posted yet.

    Great report
  14. There are a number of pending developments in Lakewood. It's not for a lack of activity or interest in the community. The problem is the city is so slow in acting on applications coupled with the high costs of materials, labor and interest rates. I can only hope that raised awareness of the slow approval process will help remedy it. Already, that article has gotten 4,300 views. Unfortunately, this meeting occurred last Monday. I was the first to report on it and hopefully others will too. I didn't even know about it until Friday when somebody sent me the link to the meeting video and told me Roundstone was leaving.
  15. Or, they think they can use real estate development to help finance the cost of a new stadium.
  16. I'm still surprised that there's only one tower crane working the HQ tower. And it looks like it's going to need to jump again soon.

I'm just spitballing here, but maybe we shouldn't be shooting these things down? I know the Chinese have made us paranoid, but let's not be so quick to pull the trigger...

You've gotta be kidding me....another one?? Stop shooting down alien spacecraft or they gonna get rowdy on us!
  21. I love that angle. I'd love it even more if Bridgeworks were in it.
  22. Not yet, but I would guess it's pretty closely related to the number of individual offices planned for this building (39).
