Yes, but more difficult since one of the two rail lines is increasing in elevation at a steeper grade. And now you'd have to cross the Shoreway boulevard at grade from the low rail line or on an elevated rail alignment from the upper rai line. At the east end of Burke (IMHO the better place for the Port), I-90 is between the low rail line and the water. And a rail line isn't going to cross I-90 at grade.

To me, it's stunning to see these scenes of Scranton Peninsula. My dad drove us around the Flats in the 1970s. I remember the pickling acid orange-colored Cuyahoga River, the rusty hulk of the Upson-Republic steel mill and the dog-sized rats that ran and hid among the tall grass. Absolutely stunning to see what's rising there now....

I heard. He told the CDC the opposite and the CDC said he was meeting directly with CDC board members to make his case. To me, he's trying to use "safety" to get out his lease and if he can't, at least he's made a case about the need for more safety. And yes, more safety is always a good thing. But it's a case which seems dubious, based on an apparently improving safety situation.

Not necessarily. There's several factors, one of which is the fact that there's only one assembly plant for the most dominant railcar manufacturer in the USA. Cleveland has to get in line for the assembly line.
