Hi Motorist...I live in Euclid (just north of I-90 but SOUTH of the Boulevard, god forbid, even :) ) and the little neighborhood I live in is nice, pretty quiet and mostly older neighbors that have been there forever. I've been in my house for about 8 years. I have had friends who moved away and later said that they wish they didn't because Euclid's really got everything nearby (within city limits as well as proximity to Cleveland proper and quick access to downtown and west side, especially where I am). I LOVE Beach Club Bistro on Lakeshore near E. 222, as well as Grovewood Tavern and of course Beachland Ballroom. I love the Nottingham area (which you can pass through on your way from E. 185 before you get to Grovewood. Villaview at E. 185, then a right onto Nottingham) and if I hadn't found the house I have now, often thought I'd like to live there. I also looked off Lakeshore Blvd. just west of E. 185 and east into Euclid since all or most of those streets have private beach access on the north side of Lakeshore.

i can't help but tear up EVERY time i read about this!
  4. AJ, glad you're enjoying your trip! Also, just have to say you all are too cute with your excitement, willingness to help and encouragement! Isn't that nice? I mean, really, how friendly everyone is here :) (I'm having a sentimental moment, ok, cut me some slack :) )
  5. Hey Jason..no, not the first time although it is offered more so when funding permits. We got a project grant from Cuyahoga Arts and Culture, which is a HUGE help.

Thanks :) For as much as she might try, she doesn't have a mean bone in her body (the hungry/scavenger bone, yeah she's got that - I swear every time we walk she manages to find something to eat!)! Hayward that's a great photo..her/his eyes look sooooo green! David, that's cute that they get along so well; MayDay and Smitten your kids are adorable, too (I have to stop here or else I'll be commenting on our kids all day long :) )
  7. Very nice Rob! I like 125 the best.

She's Corgi/Black Lab) here she is pretending to be fierce Whatchoo talkin bout, Willis slightly distorted and red-hued one of me with her. that's an oil recycling kit in the background, if anyone wants it!

You don't want to work there. TRUST ME! All the "fun" stuff is in LA with Hugh. once I tagged along when my friend had to chaperone a playmate at an event in Toledo. She's from Ohio even, North Ridgeville, I believe - Nicole Lenz. It was kinda fun in a road trip sorta way. Plus, with the hassle of frequent travel come the benefits of hotel points and air miles :)

MTS..did you ever work with anyone (directly or indirectly) at Playboy International out of the Chicago office?
  14. Well sure! That's like saying, "I remember taking Creationism in college and the first thing the professor taught us was that Evolution is BS." Ya know? Completely different. Maybe he'll come back or one of the others will remember? If so, let me know :)
  15. hmm..thanks for the reference but to be picky, it's not exactly what I saw. The pic in the link below is more like it because as I'm facing east and looking back at downtown, the sun reflects the buildings, making them appear as if on fire. The others are neat but show the sun aligned between the buildings, not reflected on them.
