That is $25.00 dollars of money that I will never get back...(sigh) And yet my wife and I are still trying to Brainwash our kids into being Browns fans, I guess nothing builds character like a life time of being let down. My 5 year old is rebelling, he claims his favorite team is the Bengals because they have tiger striped helmets. I guess there are worse reasons to pick a team.

The people in my office that insist on carrying on their morning conversation at top volume, regardless of what ever pointless topic they are discussing this morning. Two loud talkers together is friggin' annoying. Especially when I am not completely awake. Also getting to work in the morning and it is still dark. Yikes, not sure about the new Daylight Savings calendar. Edit: Todays topic appears to be Googling....and that is with I hear my ear buds in and ipod on....

I wasn't surprised that they kept both DA and BQ. As sad as they are, they are our starter and back-up in what ever combination it happens to be in a particular week. If bad DA keeps showing up like this we'll probably see brady again after the Monday night game against the Ravens. I can't imagine sticking him back in after the bye only to face the Ravens.

X, you sound like me. That whole 90's rock thing is really clouding my judgement. I would say Jack White has to be up there pretty high . The quality and accesibility of all of his projects have been top notch. The Radiohead catalog from this decade has been pretty amazing too, but no big hits. I think that it is too early to see who the new best bands of the decade were. My ballot would include Kings Of Leon, Modest Mouse, The Killers, The Hold Steady, Black Keys. I love the Twilight Singers too, but I don't think they will make very many other peoples list. You either love Greg Dulli or you don't. 1

Haha the article said Eric Mangini is the long lost Augustus Gloop from Willy Wonka and the Choc Factory. I must admit the likeness is uncanny. Anyone care to photoshop Mangini with chocolate smeared around his mouth. I'll admit I am still undecided on Mangini, but I understand what he is trying to do (if he can is another story). However, I feel since NYC is the center of the journalism universe we are getting hung out by every jaded Jets fan with a laptop and an article due. It is not like Mangini has turned the Pats into the Browns. The Browns were a crappy team before who got lucky in 2007. I guess I am just p!ssed at the tone of the negative press. Laughing stock, worst hiring ever, yada yada. Helloooo? Anybody been watching the Raiders this year (or the last 5 years) or Detroit. Yes we suck, but just leave it at that.

So I open the latest issue of Rolling Stone late last night and find an article in there on how Mangini has made the Browns the laughing stock of the NFL. WTF, Sports Illustrated I understand but f$%^&*G ROLLING STONE? I can't find a link to the article but I will post it when I do. (Note: I haven't actually read it yet because I threw the magazine down in disgust)

The trash talking against OSU by the commentators was amusing. Colerain must have been kicking himself when he pulled that unsportsman like penalty for taking his helmet off. Luckily they regrouped and scored. Good game by the Bearcats, good win

I went and saw Cloudy with the kids last weekend. It was OK to pretty good. Definately better than the Shrek type pandering that passes for kids movies today. For the Evil Dead fans, Bruce Campbell was the voice of the mayor and he was pretty funny/sleazy.
