We hired the defensive coach of the only team Weeden beat last year. How's that for convoluted? It's enough to make your head explode.

Is This How The End Begins?
^Is it bad that I wondered if it would be cheaper to feed my family for the year if I bought that?

NFL: General News & Discussion
I find Greg Little signally first down after a 7 yd reception way more offensive....it was a pass broken up an interception that sent the Seahawks to the frigging Super Bowl. Apparently those two really really really don't like each other. Besides Suh (who's more of a dirty player) who's really the bad boy of the NFL?

Other random thoughts. 63 degrees in Denver? In Denver in January? Really? Denver shut down the run and killed the Pats whole offensive scheme. Thank goodness. This game will be Denver O versus Seattles D. Although I think SF's penetrating front would be a better match against the Denver O line and Manning. Wilson and Kapernick have a long way to go before we talk about them in the same breath as Manning or Brady. Both show flashes of brilliance but both still make dumb mistakes especially against the great Ds of SF and Seattle. General ball handling was atrocious. Nice Weeden flipper Colin! Phil Dawson. Sorry man. I honestly though the niners were going to finish that drive and you would get to kick the extra point to take the team to the Super Bowl. Lots of love for you on Facebook last night from Cleveland fans. The good news is you tripled you playoff experience. How was that play not reviewable on the Seattle goal line? Although SF actually ended up with better field position after the fumble. Karma, I guess.

Exactly! It was brilliant, not as brilliant as the ass tap on Crabtree followed up by the choke gesture, but still brilliant.

That was an epic post game interview with Richard Sherman. It will be hard to top. It was unprompted, classless, self congratulatory, intense but he never used profanity or took his eyes off the camera. Erin Andrews reaction was the icing on the cake.

Also, just before halftime Portland was down 8, and then went on a 14-2 run to take a 4 point lead. That's what I was trying to say. I turned the game on as the buzzer on the first have was going off. Phelps and Campy were talking about it. Rough night, baby did not want to go to sleep and I was working on a project for work....Looks like I got the numbers twisted.

They were winning by 10 Or so with 2 mins left in the first too and have up a 14-4 run to be down by four.

Nope, not intuitive at all. It took me awhile how to set up 6 different devices on iMessage and share an Apple ID for apps. I haven't attempted iCloud yet.

Just posting here to vent about iTunes 11 and how it finds new ways to suck each time I use it. I know that this a bit late but we have been forced into using it since I got a new phone and my kids got an iPad mini. I haven't seen anybody blow up a perfectly good interface (ok, a tolerable interface) like this for the sake of blowing it up since Winamp 3. Huge step back in usability, everything is hidden and now requires 2-3 clicks to do.... I also discovered today it handles compilation albums horribly, although that may just be a settings issue. I did finally breakdown and get a 5s, iOS 7 is fine, besides crappy battery life.

What the heck is going on in Berea? The only way the Chud firing made sense is if you have an upgrade locked up and waiting in the wings. It doesn't appear that was the case. I am afraid that Haslam has gone Jerry Jones on us.

Pet Peeves!
Ugh, stone veneer. Can you talk him into hardiboard shingles at least? Are the opening a wall between the kitchen and dining or did they make it one room? I've seen a few galley kitchens walls opened into a large formal dining rooms that worked well.

The best part of that Map was they had to wedge the Clippers into a tiny spot by LA, while the rest of SoCal is the lakers.

Weather
I used to keep it 64 when gas was $15 a ccf but have gotten lazy as the prices dropped. I'll tell you what, I now know where every draft in my house is after that. That was crazy. I've got hot water heat with baseboards radiators from the 60s to replace the original cast iron radiators, and basically didn't have enough surface area to keep up with the heat loss. Water temp was maxed out but the boiler wasn't running continuously to heat it. Thankfully I put a wood burner insert in the fireplace, that Throws a lot of heat and kept us above 68.

And my 100 YO house was 60 downstairs when I woke up....restoked the fire and we're now up to a balmy 64 at the thermostat. I am good to around 0 holding 68 degrees but a windy -12 was too much. Thank god I have this wood burner. Boiler system is getting revamped as soon as the weather breaks.
