Yeah baby, nothing like flipping between two winning teams. 96 losses to 92 wins in a year. They have done nothing but play great baseball all month. And they have done nothing win down the stretch, erasing much of my earlier concerns. Cough cough, CP blown save in the first game of the Tiger series, that put them in a slide...

Who is the new Buster guy? He's wait better than the old one. So we've now shut down Adrian Peterson and AJ Green?

He should consult his dog. I hear Brody Baum gets some good sh*t in the mail from time to time..... Best FB post I saw last night was "give Perez either the bong or give him the bench. He's a mess"

Is this the end of Chris Perez? He's a freaking liability at this point.

Almost an upper decker for Gomes...good to see the bats alive tonight.
  7. Of course you did....
  8. ^Those were stables, not a train station. Who knew? According to the map, it says renovate historic stables.
  9. So I really like the roundabout idea for W.73 after driving by there over the last couple of days. if it's not going to be at grade, the left/right turns off the shoreway could be a disaster. That would be a great solution. Does this project make the old train depot across from Edgewater a develop-able piece of property? If so, dibs on it. Do any of the project presentations show which parcels of land would be opened up by this. I've been trying to figure that out as I drive through there. One other general question, why don't we use more multi-function stop lights and lane turn restrictions around here. Seems to me that lights along Clifton/shoreway that are flashing yield/stop and right turn only at the minor intersections during rush hour would help with congestion, but calm traffic the other 20 hrs of the day.

Here's what's left for the wild card series team. CLE has a 4 game series with Min TB has one more NYY and then a 3 games series with Tor Tex has a 4 game series with LAA This race has been crazy, nobody has been losing. Both the Indians and Rays are on an 8 game winning streak and are 8-2 over the last 10 games.

I thought it was hilarious. So to the guys on the team, I am sorry for everything I said about two weeks ago. I still don't know if you have the raw talent to pull off a deep playoff run but you've played your hearts Out and found ways to win down the stretch. Way to turn it around this year. BTW are those NHL style playoff beards a few of you are sporting? Sincerly CBC
  12. (Shakes head) Why is there a picture of North Harbor and the Browns Stadium with this article?
  13. Yeah, the sin tax extension will be an extremely tough sell.

We still have a chance at the division ? Detroit is the only 1st place team that hasn't clinched their division. Honestly I thought it was over after those two dingers that CP gave up.... I can't wait for the animated GIFs of his face watching those.

^ and the above mentioned breakdown of QB run contain. Ponder is definitely in the top third of QBs that well face that are a down field running threat.

And good lord, Mingo popping back up off the ground for the sack. Ponder had no idea what hit him.

    Trent looked exactly the same

So theoretically if we would win the 1 game play in, who would we face in the Series? Is it worst and first, which would mean Boston? BTW the reds and pirates are both currently in the wild card spot, 5 games ahead of the nearest team.

Ugh. That storm really kept a lot of people away. Dollar dogs are strictly a delivery system for Stadium mustard

Just picked up tix for tonight... Hope it doesn't storm

Well you have to get into the playoffs to win a playoff game..... Last time the Browns were in a playoff game Tim Couch was still on the team....
  22. CBC replied to ColDayMan's post in a topic in Sports Talk
This is untrue. With the right QB, multiple teams have shown the ability to win in year 1. THey will get 7 picks in the first four rounds next year. You can essentially rebuild the entire offense around the talent we do have Mack, Thomas, Gordon, Benjamin. ^Did you include Benjamin???I'd include Cameron before Benjamin. He's a Heath Miller type TE.

^Interesting question, will the fans have to riot on the Jax game Dec 1st to make sure that the Browns forfeit and lose the game? I am all in. 0-16 here we come...

I'll be at Buckeye local at 1:00 on Sunday for a 9-YO travel soccer game.....I win. Another good thing is my neighbor has already conceded on our bet that the Browns will finish in the top/bottom half of the AFC North. Dewey's pizza for the whole fam, including bar tab. I wish Trent the best.
