I believe it was one of the MTV Movie awards or video awards, and that was mostly I am talking funny and in the UK this is funny schtick. He wasn't very funny, not horrible but it was pretty forced. God has there been anyone that has fallen so far on the funny scale as the Cos? His old albums are hilarious.

Dane Cook...arghh. I never got Dane Cook. I am impartial to Ricky Gervais, but I have never tried to watch a movie with him in it. Speaking of cultural blasphemy on my part. I find Russel Brand's stand up routine to be funny....even though he looks like a love child of Steven Tyler from Aerosmith and Bert from Sesame Street...

Watched the "The Fighter" last night, it was pretty enjoayable. Christian Bale was excellent. Watching him as the crack addict older brother I had a hard time even picturing what he looked like playing Bruce Wayne/Batman. Mark Walberg was very enjoyable as Mark Walberg character #1 (as opposed to #2, see I (heart) huckabees), it helps to have a script to fit your limitations.

US Economy: News & Discussion
I just saw a graph on this and actually most of the uptick is do to multi family home. If the trend continues, multifamily starts will out number single family home starts for the first time in decades. http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2011/07/chart-of-the-day-the-diverging-home-building-sectors/242195/

Pet Peeves!
How hard can it be? Just go to the Goya isle and buy one of everything...I jest, I jest.. I get flack from wife, because I will make a list with her of what to get when I go, and then I get exactly that...she on the other hand considers the list to be merely a strawman for impulse buying.

Oh we know you send thing 1 and thing 2 to do your grocery shopping, you probably haven't set foot in one since 1990. You would probably be like George Bush Sr. amazed at the barcode reader if you didn't see them at Saks.... (ducks for cover)

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
Speaking of XYZ, I was in there last week and we were joking with the bartender about what their next place would be named and he mentioned they are thinking of opening a pizza place in the in the back . I assume he was talking about the" Maria's Desserts" space facing the parking lot in the back. Although "LMNOPizza" was vetoed as a name....

Paid to sprawl.
Fitzgerald gets it though. If there is a glimmer of hope in NEO, it's that. I hope that he can pull the surrounding counties into some sort of agreement in the long run. That's the part that scares me, the sprawl is well beyond the Cuyahoga county borders...

Baseball's 1st All Star Game
Excellent story. Wow. sounds like if he hadn't died at a young age we could of had an Addie Joss trophy instead of a Cy Young, his numbers sound like he had some nasty stuff. That really stinks that it took 70 years to get him into the HOF.

Paid to sprawl.
Yep, that sounds about right....

Homes, houses condos etc.
Looks great Kyle. Love the granite. We were looking at some that had a nice large pattern in it but decided that it would be wasted because we weren't going to have any large slabs.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
We stopped by Market Garden for a beer and an app before the tribe game last night. My $.02, beers good, our tacos so-so especially for the price, service at the bar, not bad but not good either, hopefully they are just learning the system and clientele . Great patio/garden, interior was OK. We weren't blown away but they just open so it will only get better. I am more of a dingy pub sort of guy so it's probably strictly a summer spot for me....

I am at the gym on the elliptical machine and Good Morning America is on one of the Tvs. I was wondering why a RuPaul segment was on and then I realized it was Beyonce. What's with the heavy makeup and overblown do's?

Demographic Shifts in Urban Ohio...Aging and declline in under 45 pop
Boy, did you miss the point of that or what? The American Dream may not be dead, but upward mobility in economic class has grinded to a halt for most Americans. I believe you are more likely to fall a class from your parents, than move up. Even for myself; I will count myself lucky to do as well as my parents, and I am taking over his business.
