Is she a drag king? If not, then flatter me with ca$h! it confused the hell out of me for a few seconds when she posted using that avatar. Somebody is using AJs too. Way too confusing.

...but the hoarding would probably continue...
  3. How would Forest City benefit from their land which is currently a peninsula becoming an island? It becomes much more valuable developable water front land with an opportunity for a marina and homes with docks that cannot be put there now due to the ships navigating the river. Plus it would be contiguous to the new development of the casino instead of staring at an unfinished backside facade/parking garage of Tower City Agreed..assuming they would pursue it.

    LOL That's funny...
  5. (insert picture of Bruno) Carbocide! Wow. That's like buttering your Bacon ala Homer Simpson.... On a colder note, looks like today is the first ice/snow run of the season here in NEO.. EDIT: I just eneter my stats into a BMI calculator. I am officially not obese by .3 points. Yay for me. I jiggled the number a bit to see at what weight I would not be overweight, it said 173 lb. Not happening, last time I was that weight involved dehydrating myself so I could make weight for wrestling senior year of highschool. I was rocking a BF % of about 7%.
  6. Discuss..Not sure if this is here or in the transportation thread. FC would be the real benefactors to this... http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2010/12/flats_oxbow_proposes_straighte.html Flats group proposes straightening the crooked Cuyahoga River for Dan Gilbert's Cleveland casino Published: Wednesday, December 01, 2010, 6:00 AM Dave Davis, The Plain Dealer Ship at Collision Bend A St. Mary's Cement Co. ships on Nov. 11 makes the sharp turn on the Cuyahoga River behind Tower City Center Watch video CLEVELAND -- The idea of straightening the Cuyahoga River to allow freighters to bypass Collision Bend has been discussed for more than 100 years, but a local community development group believes the age-old plan might give Dan Gilbert the extra room he wants to build his Cleveland casino. Digging a new river channel across the neck of Collision Bend would create an island out of the jutting piece of land and allow large ships carrying iron ore and limestone to bypass the 16-acre site where Gilbert plans to build the Casino. The Cleveland site hugs Collision Bend, a particularly tortuous stretch of the river named because of occasional accidents.

No Vampire Weekends, "Holiday" being used to push the Honda-days year end sale. Although Judas Priest is just as depressing...

    What he said...

It's all Moby's fault (not that bands were not doing it before, but he took it to a new level with "Play" and made it totally acceptable), well that and the fact that corporate radio in general sucks and MTV doesn't play videos.

One of your favorite bands licensing their song to Honda (I am looking at you Vampire Weekend) and getting excited when it comes on the radio/tv only to realize it's a stupid commercial....

One of my wife's best friends has serious thing for Neil Diamond. She's 32 and has a collection of concert DVDs too. Vulpster, I'll have to check that out, no youtube at work. My wife is a fan and I have liked what i have heard so far.
  12. Is the Schiller Rec still insanely cheap? When I lived there in 2001-2002, it was $50 for the year. All of the equipment wasn't the newest and greatest but they had a lot of it and if you were creative you could do any exercise that you wanted.
  13. That is a relatively new phenomenon on TV. I'd say it started with Roseanne, but they were both kind of slobs. King of Queens maybe with Kevin James? The Jim Belushi show? Grounded for Life had an schlub husband and hot wife too. I guess Fred and Wilma Flintstone was the prototype. But back in the day Mr. and Mrs. Brady had the 70s attractiveness going on. In real life most couples seem to be on the same level of chubbiness/attractiveness. I am sure that MTS has a market research document on this somewhere.
  14. I think that I am about done cutting. I have really reached a plateau, and the sacrifices required to go to the next level just are not going to happen right now. My plan is to keep the running up, work on building strength up with at home exercises and hopefully hit the weight room 2 or 3 times a week to get in some bulk building exercises. My weight will start to go up again as I add muscle but as long as my waist gets smaller or stays the same, I will be happy (36 dress pants,34 jeans).
  15. What the recipe for the oatmeal protein shakes? Sounds interesting.

Aw fuck.. it's official Colt is out with a "high ankle sprain"... As somebody commented on WFNY's write up of last Sunday's game. The high ankle sprain is the new staph infection with the Browns.
  17. Two words. Tayshaun Prince. I always think that he is going to snap in half when I watch him play. He's listed at 205 lb and 6' 9" and that weight is probably padded a bit. At my age, I am guessing that my ideal weight is probably around 190-195 lbs. Although it's been a real struggle breaking that 200lb barrier, I have been stuck here since the summer. I just realized this week that I now have that muscle on top of muscle look going with my quads and ham strings so I am guessing that added leg muscle is twarting my efforts. Oh well.
  18. What I wouldn't give to be 6'2" :(
  19. Listen "Mr. The BMI doesn't say I am obese" I thought 205 was really skinny for that height too. Right now I am stuck around 200-205 and I am only 5'10" (BTW you are all really Tall, Possible survey question MTS?).
  20. ::) ::) ::) ::) but anyway back on topic..
  21. I know what I am compensating for, so what are you compensating for???? ;) But seriously, I can usually tell off the bat if someone is gym rat or just into fitness. But I guess that comes from spending a lot of time in the gym myself. Right now I have not been lifting at all. I took a major step forward with my running this summer, I adjusted my stride to get off my heels and now strike with my midfoot/forefoot. I have had awesome results. Right now my lunch time run is up to 6 miles in 45 min and I have been injury free since early summer. I used to have problems with injuries (probably stress related) once I got 2-4 months into a heavy running cycle. I haven't had time to get to the gym (5:30 AM is the only time that works) so I am going to start concentrating on doing the old stand bys like push-ups, pull-ups and using a band to do curls and extensions. I did the Kenpo P90X workout last night for the first time in about 6 months and breezed through it, which used to be moderately hard for me. So I guess my cardio fitness is pretty good. I'll let you know how the chest workout goes. That's a major B for me....
  22. I'll try to get to around to it. Playboy usually posts the articles on their website a month after the hard copy is published. So hopefully we'll be able to link up to it eventually.

It's a pretty good indication that you aren't going to have a long career when your first hit is a a cover. I am still a little bitter at Prince for wasting a Birthday or Christmas present on the Emancipation set. Really? that had to 4 discs?
  25. CBC replied to CincyImages's post in a topic in Urbanbar
Prince mailed it in on his version, she had that going for her. As he too often does. What the point of being uber prolific if you aren't trying 3/4 of the time? Did anybody else hear that go awful song he put together for the Vikings playoff run last year?
