I am usually a gen or two behind on phones, but I think that I had a motorola with texting, a vga camera and a color screen in 2004. My dad is hounding my brother on details because he is looking to upgrade his old Blackjack (which he had for a year or two before he activated e-mail, he's in sales and on the road 50% of the time mind you) to a Droid phone. I get by with a cheapie Qwerty messaging phone and my ipod touch/free wifi at work.

Since that proverbial monkey on our back is behind us. Let's get on with the season. I really enjoyed last night's game. This group is exciting to watch and the they are ball hawks on D. I like what Scott is getting out of them already . What last night's win means to me is the Cavs can compete with any team in the league on any given night which pretty much guarantees us a winning season. I'll take it. We are not a 60 win team, especially with Boston, Miami and Orlando in the East but hey we were the last two years and see where that got us.... Damn, what a relief. Onward...

I hear you. Allen was shooting those threes and I was going "yeah" followed by "uuummhhh" because I couldn't believe I found my self rooting so instinctly for Boston. Toughest for me will be rooting for Orlando.....but I am sure that I will be.

It's not as common as it used to be but non-smoking hotel rooms that smell like smoke was a pet peeve of mine, especially when they didn't have any other rooms to switch into. Also wrecking your car, that sucks too. I have been without mine for 3 weeks now. Apparently I did not have the rental car rider, so we have been with one care for 3 weeks now. I will be adding that in the near future.

Mayday, that's crazy. I like AJ's idea that we should start tackling them to show the deer who is boss. My carpool mate gets deer in his yard on Clifton in Lakewood over by West Clifton intersection. It's nuts. They must come up from the metroparks through Clifton park, because there are no woods around there at all. I work in Akron and run on the towpath trail north of downtown at lunch. Last week or so, there were three deer standing on the side f the trail at noon and they were just looking at me as I ran up and they didn't finally run away until I was about 20 ft away. I was half expecting them to attack me "Tommy Boy" style. They really didn't care that I was there.
