It's not often this happens, but google just failed me. I wanted a picture of Burt Renyolds in the Chicken Pit chicken costume from "Stroker Ace" no luck.

Has anybody else ever dreamed of having the perfect pizza by taking the best elements from your favorites? Like the crust fron shop A, Sauce from shop B, etc etc.

Agreed. But they were the exception with that oh so delicious thick-crust sicilian style.

Yuck. That is gross. I just had a problem with the pizza when I lived in Columbus (where this style is prevelant among the local shops, it's bad when you end up ordering Pizza hut), I couldn't imagine living in St. Louis. I am just a good Italian boy from the Youngstown-Warren area so I have some expectations from my pizza, mostly, you know things like taste... Doc if that is what you are craving, I have a bunch of cardboard sitting at my house from my new kitchen cabinets and my kids have a ton of markers. I could draw you up a St. Louis style "pizza" and deliver it :)

Reminds me of the opening of the first Season of 'Weeds" with the timelapse of all the cul-de-sac suburbs being built.

Cleveland: Historic Photos
1910-1912 was a guessitmate on my part, based on the fact that the courthouse opened in 1912 and the outside structure looked mostly complete.

I didn't even notice that! I see that that picture is hosted on wiki, do you know where it came from? EDIT: yes I am geeking out on Cleveland history instead of working.

love it, the courthouse in underconstruction but nearly finished so that is 1910-12 ish. Or are those towers something else? Now where ws this taken from? It's quite a high elevation. Roof of the Rockefeller building perhaps?

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Also, consider how average the rest of the league is right now. How many 2-2 teams are out there?? That bodes well for the Browns in many ways, including giving them more confidence. I'm sure many of the Browns players know they are better than 1-3, and that's a good mindset for them to have. And the only remaining undefeated team is KC. Oy!

Cleveland Browns Discussion
I didn't say they should be shocked, just that it had zero coverage in any of the recap columns. I see a lot of the 2007 Browns in last years Bengals, a hot start and a cold finish. This year are still better than the 2008 Browns but no where as good as the fan base thinks. Think about this, the Browns are 12 points away and 3 blown leads from being 4-0, or at least a .500 or .750 team. Dumb mistakes really cost them in those first 3 games.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Apparently the national media finds the Browns beating the bengals a non-event. Even Peter King who picked the Browns over the bengals didn't acknowledge anything in his Monday Morning QB except for TO's stat line. I must say watching TO play I had forgotten that he is truly a freak of nature and a heck of a player. Each of his arms have got to be 5 foot long.

Awesome but it is really disorientating because I spend the whole time looking at it going, ok I know this building is still there, now is that one pavement or not,? that one is gone...etc...

No.I have been trying to get into a league that my college buddies have been doing for years (mostly to trash talk) but nobody ever drops out. So this year he sent ou an e-mail that they had so many people bugging them that they were thinking about starting a second league, so I replied directly to his e-mail within hours. Like 10 days later I got an e-mail from him saying that he never checks his yahoo account and they had already filled the second league up. Idiot....He's a good friend but still an idiot.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
I don't want to talk about it much, but I think the best explanation for the hatred is that when I try to come up with a athlete acting comparably I can't do it. It was an unprecedented FU to the fans. Favres and Clemens did go to their adopted "home" team rivals but not on national television special for less money after teasing the whole process along for 2 years. Yes the Favre circus is annoying but he at least went to the Jets first after being forced into retirement by GB.

Alcohol is definately bad for your brain but I think it is most easily abused since it is so readily availible (duh, I just stated the obvious). I wish I could read the write up for the scan to find out what heavy weekend user means. I know a few people that have a few beers nightly and then get wasted on the weekends because they don't have to work. Basically still drinking like a college student. That's a heavy weekend user to me. The cumlative damage has got to be devastating if your brain never gets a chance to recover/minimize the damage. http://www.amenclinics.com/brain-science/spect-image-gallery/spect-atlas/images-of-alcohol-and-drug-abuse/ Check out the last one. 3 packs of cigarettes and three pots of coffee daily? My god, decreased brain activity has to be the least of that person's problems.

^ that makes a lot of sense. If the root of the symptoms is decreased blood flow as the scans indicate than a stimulant would close those "holes". I know my one buddy who struggled with un or under diagnosed ADD until he was in his late 20s when he finally got the right medication. At which time he got his act together and finished college after initially dropping out after a year, joining the navy and then bumming around for a few more years after he got out. He told me the first time he tried coke that everybody else was coked up and he was just felt more "normal". I also think a lot has to do with what you consider normal. I started drinking in HS so I grew up knowing how to manage the next day. however, to this day I hate the "cobwebs" associated with pot because I never smoked a lot of it or found it particularly enjoyable. It makes me literally stupid the next day and everything is hard to do. Which I find very frustrating. For me unless it's a really bad hangover the effects of alcohol are mostly physical not mental and I manage it with Advil and water. Or fountain coke and Five Guys if it is bad :)
