  1. My small rural highschool of less than 400 kids averaged at least one suicide per year while I was there. So 5 in the three years at Mentor's mega school doesn't seem that shocking to me now that I think about it. I agree though the internet and camera phones has made bullying easier than 15 years ago. EDIT: wow 850 a class? that is bigger than half of the colleges in Ohio
  2. How big is Mentor High BTW?

You want some habanero peppers? I have about 3 or 4 dozen that I have no idea what to do with them? They are too hot for me.

Umm the tribe game shouldn't be a problem. I was there Thursday night and there were about 6000 people... :) Although 6 would be the earliest I could make it...

His son's company is VinCore? Hilarious. Russo rolling over to protect his kid took the fun out the blood sport spectacle that I was expecting in their corruption trial. Oh well there is still Jimmy D. I can't wait to hear the details of how he once was bribed with two pizzas with extra cheese and mushrooms because the meeting ran through lunch. :) I have been torn on Fitzgerald going forward, so far I have been happy with him as mayor of Lakewood. He's obviously has higher ambitions. If he isn't on the up and up 100%, it is not in the same league of Russo and DiMora, hell he wouldn't even be in the same sport. He worked for the FBI so I think he knows how to walk the line between getting things done and not technically breaking the law. I just realized that I get the same feeling from him that I used to get from John Edwards, I like him but there was something that I couldn't put my finger on.

LOL. This is going to the first home open in 5 or 6 years that I haven't either gone to my buddy's for his annual Browns party, which was most years, or I went to the game. The party was always fun, he'd have TV's everywhere and there were always tons of kids. Unfortunately his wife is due anyday so no party this year. So as of right now I plan on sitting on my couch.

They still are on fairly regularly, my kids manage to find them every now and then. The old Tom & Jerry cartoon are on all the time on cartoon Network. My middle one actually brought home a drawing he did at kindergarten of Jerry about to drop a brick on a rope pulley trap on Tom as he was chased by the dog drawn with really big teeth. Quality life lessons in those old cartoons.

I would agree most of the damage cause by this Jimmy D/Russo crew wasn't the direct cost to the taxpayer or the bribes, which themselves are pretty small, it was the impact they had on doing business in CC and CLE. The real value lost was the business (and tax revenue) lost strictly because they gave the area a bad (worse than deserved?) reputation for doing business that a lot of companies decided it wasn't worth the hassle.

Frickin Don Banks at SI rated the Browns number 32 this week.

Jake the snake is in a walking boot and Senca is taking all of the practice snaps. Oh and KC showed some life last week and beat San Diego. It should be interesting on Sunday.

From what I understand a majority of the broadcast "pilot" was edited/reshot. Gotcha, there is a lot of the novelty factor in the first season. Casual racism! Drinking and smoking at work! Secretarial pools! Blatant chauvinist behavior! etc..The real storyline didn't begin rolling along until about halfway in season one. MW writes a tight storyline that usually has small details that have significant implications episodes later. AMC wanted to get into original programming so they had nothing to lose. It turned out to be a good roll of the dice. Great show.

Not surprising. Like I said, especially if they didn't reshoot the pilot, it was slow at first. And I imagine the bill to shoot a period piece like that isn't cheap. Well I am glad you have corporate allegiance.. :) because I sure don't...

UGH! ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) Sorry I meant is anybody watching Golden Girls? This is the first season that I get to watch as it unfolds because I didn't have AMC until I switched to Uverse in March. I actually thought the first couple of espisodes of MM Season 1 were slow and not all that compelling but the attention to detaill was design geeks dream. Then once the story got rolling I got into it, watched all the way through MM season 2. So now I am rewatching season 1 with my wife to get her caught up and watching seasons 3 and 4 simultaneously, which is an interesting way to watch a show that is also layered with flashbacks. I for one would gladly trade business casual for a suit and tie if it came with booze at work.

It was great I got the 20 minutes of complete disgust watching the 4th quarter at the DeBonne bar, but didn't ruin the rest of my day.

Would you prefer a Timmy Couch or Brady Quinn? How about Jeff Garcia? No comment on yesterdays game. Let's just say I am glad I decided to take a bike tour of the wineries in Geneva...
