I saw those banners above I-77 last night, too. One says "Home" and the other says "More than a player." They were apparently made by the Cavs because their logo is in the lower-left of each. Just heard on the radio that ODOT is taking them down now. .... and dumping them in LeBron's front yard...

Screaming about parking on a public street? I would love to hear her side on why that is a rational behavior. Also there is this family that rents the double next to mine, who from what I can tell when I am over there working is uncapable of speaking in a normal tone. All 5 of them yell at each constantly. Parent to parent. Parent to kid, kid to parent....She also does in home daycare. Scary. I have a neighbor who gets all worked up about it. He was trying turn are street into a permit only street. Granted there is the library at the end of it but it's all single family homes with their own single lane driveways and garages. He likes to park in front of his house and let his wife use the driveway because they can't pull all the way up into the backyard wear the driveway widens because he has this "Sanford & Son" truck parked back there.

Ouch. I could never deal with that opressive heat for months on end. The hair isn't a problem though. I mean we get a couple of 95 degree days like last weekend but that is counter acted by the beautiful 75 degree weather this week. I haven"t put my AC units in the last two years.

They are putting those silly banners up on every over pass on I-77 between Downtown and Rt 18 in Akron. Plus adds on the electronic billboards

Would that be a boys dorm or a girls dorm? On the west green at OU they had a number of huge "H" shaped dorms with two long hallways connected in the middle with a shorter hallway. The floors that were co-ed were split right in the middle of the "H" and in 20 ft it would go from smelling like Dirty laundry, BO and a hint of cologne (boys) to full on Bath and Body Works/Yankee candle(girls). I doubt that you were using the dorm reference in a good way so it must of smelled like musty old laundry.....

I have a friend that lives in Tower Press. Very Nice IMO. No idea on price. Secure parking lot and the coffee shop too.

I love scrabble! I have it on my ipod touch too & just found out that I can play via facebook. So, if you are down to beat me in scrabble, just let me know! haha ( http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=53700855 ) But, facebook is just another addiction for everyday Americans (myself included, who is in front of a computer at least 8 hours a day). Although a lot of statues and updates can be annoying and you want to defriend all of the people who send you multiple, lame application requests, it really is a wonderful tool to interact with those you never see anymore, people you haven't seen in years, or to have yourself a good laugh at the drunken pictures one of your friends have posted. The wife and I have been on a major Scrabble kick, both electronic and old school board games. We are getting pretty good, average scores in the 275-300 range. I never realized how much strategy there really is to the game. She keeps beating me though. She is playing an friend of a friend on FB who is literally a genius (he is a research scientist in bio fuels) and he keeps beating her. It is driving her nuts. BTW is your screen name pronounced Katy-O?

...but if I make it there, I can make it anywhere. :) ...as far as LBJ goes though, it is all about winning the championship and endorsement money from China.

I am not a huge fan of shoot outs, especially in sports such as soccer when possesion changes so rapidly, I would rathe see it turn into sudden death. But those are the rules and you know if you can't score more goals in the first 120 you are subjected to the shoot out. Paraguay! Paraguay! Paraguay!

Just a question to satisfy my curiosity. Does anybody else out there have a random FB friend whose wreck of a life has become a morbid enjoyment/fascination for you? Basically the FB equivalent of really trashy reality TV? I became friends with this girl that I graduated high school who I thought was pretty unassuming and down to earth. Boy was I wrong. First off she is one of those that apparently doesn't filter what she posts on the internet. I am trying to piece her life together from her FB posts and its a riot. She has kids, maybe a Boyfriend/ husband, she just moved out of the BF? house with the kids, she post alternating loving and damning posts about the BF. She may have early stage MS, not sure about that and lots of other random facts and events that don't make sense. And the whole reason that I posted this was her status up date this morning was that the BF doesn't react to "I am on fire" because she fell asleep on the couch last night woke up at 2AM and lit a cigarette while lying on the couch and managed to catch her shirt on fire. Seriously I am so fascinated by her crazy life.

Just curious how are the Maintence fees usually determined? Is it completely up to the discretion of the Co-op board? Or do they at least show some of the math behind the number( ie $600,000 in annual cost equals $12,000 years per unit) and get approval of the tenets?
  22. Yay! More Grilled Cheese and beer for me! Off I go to run 5 miles so I can eat one of the Sandwiches.....
