Well I was 24... He's going to be 8 this month, it's hard to believe how fast they grow up. We found out the other day he has a crush on Rachel Ray. He asked if she was married....He really like to eat and I think the cooking appeals to him...

I have to stop and get a picture of that! BTW anybody else already noticed that their Cleveland fan self-defense instincts are in full effect? Mine are. The Cavs are better team but damn...I will leave it at that. Go Cavs! Amen Believeland!

RnR, come on you are making me feel like a bad parent. I think we left our oldest overnight for the first time when he was 3 months old to go and get drunk at a wedding. I slept well that night, once we finally went to bed.

I hope that LBJ is sleeping in the oxygen tent and whatever else he can think of to get that elbow back into playoff form.

Wife is off the pet peeve list, it now has reverted to going to work and everything that is fun or tastes good is bad for you...also itunes...
  13. We tend to think of cities and neighborhoods going down hill in terms of blockbusting and the mass suburban exodus during the 50-70s. Right now I think what is happening is due to our regions stagnant population we are smearing thin layer of poverty and crime over a larger and larger area (ie the inner ring suburbs). Yes the poverty level is growing but the area it is being spread out over is growing faster. I am not sure if the bottom is as low for the historically stable burbs such as LW and CH as it was for the neighborhoods in the city proper. It seem to me that Cleveland kept writing off neighborhoods and then focusing on the remaining stable neighborhoods. I don't see the cities writing themselves off. The seperate school districts should also help slow the slide also (17, your points on the schools are noted)
  14. You poor thing!

Anytime man! We all get there sometime! Now relax, relate and release. Sound advice. Time to go for my lunchtime run. 5 miles should clear my head....

The humanity! That's probably worse than being stuck without it. I refuse to read UO on my ipod touch it gets too frustrating.

Just needed to vent to a 3rd party, thanks UO. MTS thanks for the concern this isn't critical just really annoying, as far as the conversation we are getting there. What's that bit in 'White Men Can't Jump" about listening vs hearing Hendrix? I think she is getting to the point where she is hearing what I am saying instead of just listening to me talk. No biggie just part of a long term relationship.

My kindness and generosity is really limited to not b!tching and nagging about the situation and generally being a good sport. After that it is a huge step change into telling her what she can and can't do, controlling behavior. We had a blow out on Saturday and I wasn't still mad at her but I wasn't "not mad" and then we went and did something boneheaded this morning that made me sound like a fool. It was mostly joking but it was public, and it sent my BP through the roof again. Mostly I am just frustrated because she either doesn't get it or is in denial.

She is just repeatedly taking advantage of my kindness and generosity and doesn't seem to get why it is making me mad. Pretty much sick of dealing with it, if she is not going to appreciate it. (yes I know I sound like most wives)

Let's put it this way I am ready to list her on Craiglist in the free stuff. Or maybe the barter section. Willing to trade for a nice pick-up truck bed trailer because I have always thought those were classy...

Just reading some comments on LeBron's second MVP on another website. It is weird and nice at the same time for the haters hating on Cleveland and Lebron because he is so good. It's a nice change from getting shat on for our other dismal sports team.
