  2. Basketball player that enjoys weed? Looks like he picked the right campus.... Oh well good run for my Bobcats. Here is to next year. Both in football (now that CMU's LeFevour is in the NFL draft) and basketball. Much different from when I was there and the biggest attraction at the Football game was the midget in the Marching 110. EDIT: That is probably not PC, however it is true. Grobe bolted for Wake Forest and the football team was god awful....

We broke my manager when everybody working for him had come in from the outside when I started. I also think they started getting creative when they realized that we weren't getting yearly raises. Commute 90 miles a day and want to work from home one day a week no problem.... New pet peeve to vent about, I went to the bar to watch OU have it's ass handed to it by Tennesse and some guy (late 40's, early 50's boomer) was complaining because he went down to watch the Cavs game at a bar on W. 6th a few weeks ago on a thursday night in March, in the cold and there were maybe 50 people out, then proceeded to talk about how many people used to come out for the frickin Parade of boats in the flats in the late 80's/early 90's. Perspective people!. Please!....how many people were bar hopping in the flats on a weeknight in the middle of winter.....

I took off for St. Pats day. So I am stuck here...No idea why people who probably have 5-weeks of vacation to burn a year are still here...

I never had thought about it those terms before though. Must of have been the lack of oxygen to my brain. Off I go to run. Hopefully I have another insightful thought today.

Funny about the sagging pants. I was running at lunch the other day and these high school kids were walking home from lunch. I passed a kid who had such a big sag that he had to hold up the front of his waistband to walk and it struck me that men (boys) are finally suffering for fashion like women have for years.

Umm, not sure if it is romance, FE mentioned that he bought her some drinks (please don't name the establishment if she was under 21) , I think he looking for a return on his investment...Just Kidding. This seems like a bit out of a Dos Equis commercial. "Stay Thirsty My Friend"... My wife and I figured out that we had actually met a number of times before we actually "met", once we even rode in the same car together to a party. She was crammed in the backseat with 3 other people and I was smashed against the dashboard with the seat pulled all the way forward. Ah college.

    Good luck!
  15. fixed that for you..... I put a little dignity away in a box in my closet at home for after graduation...
  16. Woot! The look on the Hoyas players faces were priceless. The best part was these players were all business like they were expecting to win big. No big eyes from the bright lights of the dance.
  17. St. Patrick's Day parade pictures. Some cell phone pictures taken from about E.22 and Superior waiting in line for the parade to start and from along the parade route.

  20. http://www.cleveland.com/sports/college/index.ssf/2010/03/ohio_universitys_bassett_hound.html OU knocks favorites Kent State out of the MAC tournament 81-64. I wish I could have watched the game it sounds like they were on fire.

I think Quinn was already out for the season at that point...It was classless, but it doesn't mean that this city doesn't deserve a Super Bowl. Hell even if the Browns made it to the the Super Bowl and lost we would have a frickin' ticker tape parade, unlike Indy where 7 people showed up at the airport. Sorry Derrick, You got to be the hero in 2007, go to Hawaii for the Pro Bowl , have one hell of a season in 2007 and made a ton of money because Phil Savage got trigger happy and was afraid you would have been signed away as Free agent. Yes you were cheered when you got hurt and got to be one of the main scapegoats for fans frustration at a dysfunctional organization the last two years. However, there is no doubt in mind that your career and pocket book benefitted more than it suffered from being in Cleveland. You could have possibly been out of the league by this point, instead at the minimum you will make roughly $1M a year for the next 6-8 years as a backup in the NFL based on what you did here. Who knows maybe you'll be in the right place at the right time and get to play the hero again. Stay classy DA, these bitter comments are not becoming of you. Sincerely CBC
  23. http://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php/topic,22452.0.html See the posting above. If OU manages to make it the title game there will be several hundred well lubricated Bobcat fans already downtown...
  24. Wow. The intersection of 117th and Clifton looks about the same today (minus the streetcars of course) As far as the houses on Clifton go, yes the road is closer today, but it really doesn't look like they lost much in the front yards because of the rail beds.
