Pet Peeves!
MTS that's pretty funny, at least it was light and fluffy snow. One of my pet peeves has now turned into an endless source of enjoyment. My semi-weird neighbors rush out and start shoveling and snow blowing as soon as there is any accumulation. I was home yesterday and he must have spent 3 hours or more shoveling and snowing blowing through out the day. All that work for 3 or 4 inches of snow? I went out and shoveled my drive in 40 minutes around 5 PM. Still clear this morning. My wife and I were laughing at the absurdity of it all day long.

Fast Food
Oh I realized that I had a typo in my last post. The burger had salami and gyro meat, not ham. I had them throw the gyro meat on because they were out of the ham that was supposed to go on it. I was three X-mas ales into the night. It seemed like a good idea... Hmm, chicken fried bacon? That sounds even better. The bacon I saw was deep fried in light batter.

You have to catch the fried food "favorites" show on The Food Network. It's were their hosts list their favorite of a type of food. Somebody listed Deep fried bacon. And it actually looked really really good. So you will probably want to add that to your list. On a side note I tried to induce a heartattack Saturday night on my tour of the westsides glamour spots (Hooples, Harbor inn, Happy dog). I had a hoople burger with ham and gyro meat for dinner and then a hot dog around 1:30 with 3 different kinds of mustard, greens, bacon, chili and whatever else I checked off in drunken haze. Tater tots with cheez whiz too! That hot dog must have been magical because I had no hangover on Sunday.

and risk further injury? He's young. We're not even playing spoiler this week. You are too kind to him. He needs to show something or he becomes low round draft picks 12 and 13. So is Frye on IR or did he just go out for the game? We could have a DA vs Frye show down on our hands. My three year old will be willing his hand me down Frye Browns Jersey, for what it's worth. I'm not being kind. However, if there is a possibility he may need surgery, I wouldn't risk it. I'm sure, if you were in his shoes, and after medical evaluation, you wouldn't take the risk either. Lets just keep it real. Noted. I was just hoping that we would not have to draft a quarterback next year but with Quinn's "body of work" so far it looks like we will have to. His accuracy is horrible, better receivers would help somewhat but he still misses with too many passes. I like Quinn, he runs a good huddle and hurry up offense, and protects the ball reasonably well. He also seems smart on the field, too. However he is already injury prone and his accuracy is suspect, but you need to be able to pass when needed in the NFL. I see no reason for the Browns not to draft or trade for a new quarterback.

My wife made me stop at the Sonic in Streetsboro for a peanut butter milkshake on the way to my parents yesterday. I don't think she knows about the Sonic in Parma...shhhh... Is Parma the westside? I always think of Parma as the Cleveland version of "fly over states"..

oh I like that plan for Johnson court. McCleveland how do you sleep at night with all that information swirling around in your head. As for the courtyard I would actually have to be in downtown during business hours instead of stuck in Akron. Although I can see the very nice restoration of the building on the SW corner of Mill and High street from my window. As a sidenote my former landlord bought into the bar Wish (located in Johnson court alley) in 2002. He lost his @ss, couldn't of happened to a nicer guy.

I hope Lerner is more than happy to provide Holmgren with the leverage he desires in his upcoming contract talks with Seattle. I don't see this as amounting to much more than that. I hope 3 days of talks, especially when his agent was involved is more than a bargaining chip with Seattle.

Great set. Where is the "Hermit Club" by the way? Whoa, I just used bing maps to figure where that pic of the ware house district was taken from. I never probably have stood there before. Great eye. I also discovered there are two courtyard in the middle of the St. Clair - w.9th - Johnson court block. They look green from the Bing maps birdseye view, either intentionally or just overgrown. Has anybody ever been back there? Photo assignment possibly?

Luck does play a part too. I wouldn't count on luck, but being at the right place at the right time is part of it.

My boss was a total B*tch, but knew everything and everyone in PR/Communications in Cleveland, Ohio and the Midwest. Although I like her body of knowledge, I say right then and there, I would never be a manager like her. I was a finance major with a art history minor. I only got into PR because my best friend was into it. Luckily SOHIO was so big, I got to learn about four different divisions in three summers. When I was hired, I was hired onto the Cleveland Oil Division. I worked my way from the bottom. Hard work pays off. Nice major/minor.
