Cincinnati: Paycor Stadium Renovations
On the topic of a dome - and it may have been discussed in detail already in this thread - but is it a possibility to cap Paycor? I would think you could do that for a quarter bill.

Cincinnati: General Business & Economic News
Greater Cincinnati could vault back up to 9 F500 in the region. I seem to recall we had 10 at one time and that was the most. Maybe?

Why Americans Are Fat
One of my offspring is a HS athlete. He is always tuned in to "feeding his body" since he spends so much time training. He's at the stage of his career where he is trying to add muscle (and a lot of it) for his sport. To the point about the deficient school lunches, he specifically said it's closer to impossible to bulk during the school year because the lunches are so terrible. He packs and eats throughout the day in between classes. "Chipelto" is his go to. LOL.

Grand Rapids is a beautiful city. Kudos to their big money people actually building something new!

Cincinnati: Paycor Stadium Renovations
Also, Mehring Way seems to be a key connector to the west side as it eventually loops back around to the Sixth Street Expressway. Heading back to NKY after Reds/Bengals it's a great way to avoid traffic by following it to the Freeman Avenue entrance ramp for EB 6SXway that feeds into SB I75. Freeman to EB 6SXw

Cincinnati: Paycor Stadium Renovations
Wow! Two big things that jump right out to me: They are really pushing Mehring Way south... Completely capping the north plaza to the level(?) of Second Street. I'll be curious to see how they plan to treat the overall site in terms of elevation and anticipating spring floods. Also how they will need to adjust to the BSB induced change in ramps.

Cincinnati: Brent Spence Bridge
A BETTER BRIDGE More than a dozen changes are meant to make the Brent Spence project better for everyone Since landing $1.6 billion from the federal government in late 2022, planners have made significant changes to the $3.6 billion Brent Spence Bridge mega-project. The region’s largest overall project spans 8 miles between the Western Hills Viaduct in Cincinnati and Dixie Highway in Fort Mitchell and includes a new companion bridge, as well as 3 miles of highway widening on the Ohio side and 5 miles on the Kentucky side. https://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2024/09/12/brent-spence-bridge-design-start-25-ohio-kentucky.html

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
Zach needs to answer for it. It's chronic at this point - the slow starts. Small chance they avoid starting 0-2 again.

Nashville: Developments and News
The perception that Nashville is warm is probably mostly in the beholders mind but... Nashville and Louisville winters are about one month apart climate-wise. Meaning if January is the baseline/coldest month, Louisville's February compares to Nashville's January or one would expect the same average weather in January in Nashville as one would have in February in Louisville. Nashville's January is Cincinnati's March. Nashville and Atlanta are actually very comparable. USDA Zones....ATL sits on the cusp of 7b and 8a and NASH/KNOX is strongly 7a. LOU and CIN is 6b/6a. The southern magnolia/Natchez crepe myrtle prevalence seems to be a good anecdotal measure.

Cincinnati: West End: Development and News
How many tunnels are there and how many should be preserved in the entire basin? In the refrigeration age, do they serve any practical purpose other than tours, unique dining/drinking experiences? That would be why I wonder how many there are/need to be preserved. It seems there's a novelty to them. Just feel like a $300MM development is probably a higher use. Would be wild to see couple near 300'ers in that part of the basin.

That frustration is shared. But what exactly does council do at all these days I feel like we hear less and less about them nowadays.
