Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
Didn't you hear? Cranley says Downtown Cincinnati is competing with Kenwood and Montgomery. Let's not compare Cincinnati to other cities like Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Portland, or Charlotte. Then since his election it's Kenwood - 15 Cincinnati - Love. So I'm anxious to hear his next ridiculous viewpoint. His head is buried so deep in the styrofoam-laden Ohio River sand he can't comprehend that those peer cities will eat our lunch.

Expect more of this in Cranleyville.

Sycamore Township: Kenwood Collection
I don't think we can blame this one on Cranley. Hence the winky face. They'll do better there, I imagine. The new environment that becomes evident with every new belligerent proclamation would give some pause.

Sycamore Township: Kenwood Collection
And the decline begins. Thanks, Cranley. ;)

Cincinnati: Downtown: Fourth & Race (Pogue Garage) Redevelopment
That sounds like an accurate recap. Without searching back in the thread, I seem to recall that demo was supposed to begin this Winter. But I'm sure my memory is bad.

Cincinnati: Parking Modernization
Big risks. That is what people will start associating with the name Cincinnati. Why waste one's time trying to deal with it?

OTR is better without a streetcar. Really? This goes one step further than "let's analyze it for positive or negative cashflow." His borderline belligerence is curious.

Hipsters
Well, they did themselves no favors by making their monikers play on their race. The names had to say "Hey, I'm white and I'm a rapper and my name says so!" VANILLA Ice Snow etc. (I suppose...I was too busy with Big Daddy Kane, etc.)

The Official 700 WLW Sucks Thread!
Seems like I should feel sorry for him but I find it hard to after inadvertently hearing his weekly hate of all things Cincinnati on more than a few occasions.

What about slip on style sneakers. The ones that look like old skool Vans but aren't Vans. Patchouli oil?

^He only does that for projects that cost more to cancel than complete.

Hipsters
May I interject that the only hipster artifact that I can identify is the thick black glasses - and I'm not even sure that's correct. I am completely ignorant about it...But this thread keeps me coming back because it is awesome. I am getting quite a popular culture education. So, thanks! Now back to your regularly scheduled program...

Is this typically the point at which design would be approved? After construction has progressed this far?

I think his kitschy self would fit in well near the casino. Hopefully the electronic reader board arms will be updated to be able to display HD video.

Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
Exactly. So let me get this straight. One week we have streetcar opponents telling us that there is no development that can be attributed to the streetcar. Or that any development that is happening would have happened anyway. Now we are told that Qualls is benefitting from development on the streetcar route in her role as a hired agent. Which is it?
