  1. I think by "original", he means the original color of the current paint (before it faded), not the first color that the bridge was painted. I'm sure of that...that's why I asked about the "original-original". OMG, what a mistake "Wildcat Blue" would have been. As if Cincinnatians and NoKYians want to be constantly reminded of the cheaters in Lexington.
  2. LJ = good pickup. No way he steps out of line or they will drop him like a bad habit.
  3. Wasn't the original-original shade verdigris or tan?

    Other world-esque!
  5. I would have typed this post too.
  6. Please just go away.
  7. I know it has been discussed but is there an on-site hotel planned for BC with the casino? Also, the traffic issue: For four wheelers getting out seems like it will be alot easier than getting in. Liberty Street and Reading Road will provide easy access to 71/75 out. Getting in...hmmm...
  8. Is it too early to get a new post below mine outlining the next step(s)?
  9. This is so good to hear for the City of Cincinnati! Very important hurdle cleared.
  10. I can also confirm the SB played at USBA. And I do believe it was The Crown at the time. I rememeber going to games and I caught a ball they threw into the stands that was signed by the guy who played Les Nessman.
  11. Complete and utter BS!! Really? Seriously, if I want to experience the uniqueness of Hawaii I am not going to Honolulu. If it is nightlife...in that sense I can experience the same if not better in Miami. Give me Kona or Lahaina before Honolulu.
  12. Honolulu = Miami
  13. I asked this a couple weeks ago and nobody said anything. I assume I just jumped in at the wrong time. I need tailgating advice. I will be taking a large group to a game this year and need to know a good spot for 25 people to party. What is the best lot for location/price?
  14. Portion of Ky. 237 to close Thursday http://nky.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/AB/20091007/NEWS0103/310060105/ The second of two roundabouts on North Bend Road (KY 237) is now open. Traffic was detoured from 10/8 to 10/13 to finish the job.
  15. If you visit Portland you will walk away loving it.
  16. Can't imagine this would be the case but there may be an insulator or some other coating that has to be applied on site or removed on site.
  17. Not DT...but why is there a Short Vine?
  18. Isn't there like a 77th Street in Carthage?
  19. By my count it looks like the highest point of steel work is now on floor 25. Still hard for me to picture another ~15 stories plus the tiara. Good height!
  20. Where is 10yh, 11th and 16th Street? Where did E and W Cheapside Streets get their name? Best I could come up with for now.
  21. Neon's reopening. I must say the pix bring back fuzzy memories from the early/mid 90's! That huge bar and the courtyard...
  22. ^Now that was some old stock footage. Star Bank/Provident Bank @ 1:11 !!!! Glad to know the streetcar will connect me to the SPCA too!
  23. I drove north through the Covy cut today and the QCSII height is really starting to loom over the DT view from that angle. With this, it is becoming increasingly easy to envision it's presence on the skyline. We have some talented people who have done some mock-ups to express this but I don't think they are capturing what it will be like in person...stating the obvious, I know. Pretty exciting for our little city.
  24. I say it is because of what is behind the windows. QCSI = white walls/lighted rooms, etc. QCSII = darkness and steel. So why is there a venting place horizontally across this section? I am guess that is where the top of the parking structure is and everything above is human space. It certainly is fun to see this structure showing itself so prominently on all of the local news' "citicams/skycams"!
  25. Jake's Seneca Falls example seems to go in opposition to L'burg and Rising Sun...Although, I can't reel off a ton of examples, I have seen positive effects in those towns in the form of improved infrastructure and greater traffic in/through town.
