90's "The Blunder Years"
Freaking awesome. Have always loved the song and since you posted I am reminded how truely genius the video is. And I like the Dino Jr. video with the WTC cameo.

The 80s
Even for straight kids. Looking back it was a little alarmist given that we were only in HS (and really, can HS kids have that much whoopee?) But I do recall nasty rumors circulating in HS that gave many of us just enough pause to make better decisions. I loved PM Dawn.

Ohio Cities' Downtown Population
I didn't research this...just from memory: Corner of Butler and Pearl (can't read it?) 200 block of Butler was in Bucktown, right? Mouth of Deer Creek? Not on the mound that 5th and Vine is on but 20' lower.

Historical Aerials.com -- 1968 Cincy Air Photos
Holy Crap! No EPA in Clifton makes a big difference! Along 75 (S to N): Nice to see the old Jefferson Ave exit at the bottom of Death Hill. What was that next exit? Doesn't look like 12th Street. No Clarion Hotel (or whatever) you know the round one in Covington. Say what you want but Corporex has done alot for Covington's DT/riverfront. So was there no exit to 5th Street Cincinnati from 75 NB in 1968? I'm missing it. West End, we miss you. That was alot of freeway in 1968. No MLK extension to UC. Looks like Ctl Pkwy was a nice treelined street. Does the RR overpass just south of Towne Street still exist? No RR interchange. RR ends at Galbraith. Wow. How new was the Lockland Split? It looks shined up! That GE parking lot was packed to the gills! Chester Road is cow country and is that a drive-in I spy across the freeway. No Union Center (obviously). DARN! Imagery on goes as far as the old Beckett Road.

Favorite non-Ohio city (US only)
Put me down for Louisville since it is my original hometown. But Chicago is up there. I also like LA for some weird reason. Grand Rapids, MI is also a freakin' great city. I'll be visiting Portland, OR in November so I look forward to that city impressing me.

Louisville: Developments and News
^In 1982 they drew 800,000 due largely tp the novelty of the return of baseball to Louisville. The next year it was a year long promotion to get to 1MM coupled with a successful team. I remember the millionth fan won a car or something like that. They drew 1,052,438 fans in 1983. In 1984, Vince Coleman stole 101 bases.

Cincinnati: Oktoberfest and the night before. (Warning: 40 photos)
OT: I went down for Reds game and was yelled at by a woman to get out of the RTC. She was of a different race and made it really personal. Sparing everyone the details...she really berated me in front of my family. You photography is breathtaking. You have an excellent eye for the patterns that the urban landscape produces. Your good with your equipment too: motion shots and wide angles.
