Cincinnati: Downtown: Seven at Broadway
i guess neyer is just too concerned right now with all the crap they have going up along 71 and in at columbia

Cincinnati: Downtown: Seven at Broadway
i just wish these developers would try to tap into the "somewhat reasonably affordable" market. people would absoultely be eating these things up if they were. and it would be younger people too. just look at the parker flats development. their units are moderately priced and they have sold nearly 70 percent of before constuction has even started. i also wouldnt consider the parker flats site a "prime" location in downtown especially as far as views are concerned. just doesnt make any sense to me sometimes

Covington, KY: The Ascent at Roebling's Bridge
interesting. i mean i realize that cranes for super mega highrises are essentially climbing the building as they get taller. i didnt know they add height to stand-alone cranes mid project.

Newport, KY: SouthShore Condominiums
essentially yes. but this campaign seems to be much more agressive

Newport, KY: SouthShore Condominiums
i know this website has been posted before but they have just recently finished it and its very well done. they are marketing this building pretty hard core...a good sign. http://www.southshorenewport.com

Covington, KY: The Ascent at Roebling's Bridge
i drove by the site the other day and was a little suprised at how short that crane is. it seems like all indacators point to the building being right in between the two crapercenter towers heightwise. however, the crane is quite a bit lower than both of them. any ideas?? i also thought it funny that there was a crane out there building the crane...why not just use the first one? i thought these things built themselves anyway. crane experts go!!!

Cincinnati: Downtown - Government Square
does it look as clunky as it does in the renderings though?

Cincinnati: Downtown: Seven at Broadway

Cincinnati: Downtown: Seven at Broadway
^^ its been on hold since we started talking about this building two years ago, thats nothing new...the recent discussions have simply been about when will it come out of hibernation

Cincinnati: Downtown: Adams Landing
PhattyNati replied to The_Cincinnati_Kid's post in a topic in Southwest Ohio Projects & Constructionmoving right along. i sure hope these buildings nestle in the hill a little better than the twians point buildings...but im sure they wont.

Downtown Dayton
very nice. good to see a healthy bit of residential activity up that way too
-
Cincinnati: State of Downtown
^ no no...i realize they are not refering to the number of units sold. i meant was are these 500 people physically living downtown. as an example of what i mean...if say the mcalpin knows the population of each of the units they have sold, but obviously none of them are living downtown yet, i can see someone from the newspaper making it easy on themselves by using that information rather than an actual head count thus inflating the real number. i guess im just making this more complicated than it should be...i was just curious. but maybe somebody understands what im trying to get at...Go Cincinnati!!!
-
Cincinnati: State of Downtown
i wonder if those numbers are based on actual population increase for last year or if they are making assumptions based upon units that have been sold, but not necissarily occupied. if its based on actual population increase one would think downtown should be posed for another year of strong positive growth with the mcalpin and park place coming online

A couple gloomy days along the OHIO River.
yeah that second shot is really nice. on an unrelated note. i sure wish neyer would get the money lined up and get going on the broadway tower at st. xavier park. its height and glassy look would really add some need interest to that part of downtown.

Cincinnati: John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge
"It is the only bridge I use," Kessler said. "Every time I go to Cincinnati, I go across that bridge. It would be a major inconvenience. I would have to get on the interstate (71/75) bridge and cross four lanes of traffic." She must not know about the two other bridges...especially the one only a few blocks to the west. This is rediculous and exactly why certain things take so long to get off the ground around here. The nearsighted attitude of people just drives me insane!! Id rather see that thing rot and fall into the river, or make the state pay and extra 1.4 million than be slightly inconvenienced. Obviously the writer only mentioned the negative remarks...because thats what writers do...but come on people! This is definately great news though. I hope the improve the lighting on the main cables.

Cincinnati: Downtown - Parker Flats
there was a bucket truck out there this morning, looked like they were taking the marketing poster down from the adjacent building. but i didnt stay to watch...they might have just been updating it or something.
-
Cincinnati: Purple People Bridge
i know how inacurate renderings can be when depicting ideas...but it seems like all they are doing is adding a walkway to the top of the truss? woohoo!
