  1. the way those bad boys are "potentially selling" they should bump it up 100 floors or so. where does Koolhaas fit into the local architecture scene?
  2. if thats not cincinnati vernacular...i dont know what is! holy crap! good ole log cabin right in the middle of a hunking parking lot
  3. so i forget...is western and southern planning on moving into the new space whether it be phase one or phase two? i understand that these companies are owned by them, but i guess i never understood if moving themself was in the plan or not.

  5. i think that is a misconception that a lot of people have...that it will be a newport on the levee
  6. well that corner is definately the most interesting portion of the addition
  7. too bad it wont actually fit the site that way...seems like there is a whole lot more going on at the ground levels with parking, amenities etc.
  8. extensive scaffolding going up today...looks like we'll finally see some action on those facades
  9. it will still be a part of the "money" skyline shot coming down the hill...so that makes it ok for me

  12. well piece that with the yard waste fill and you have quite a bit of land...have never heard anything of this through my blue ash channels however

  14. ^my sentiments exactly. although...i think its pretty obvious that their objection is moving out of alignment with 5th street. i apparently had misunderstood the fountain to have been further down closer to government square when the original location was actually not too far from where it is now? council sure did crush them!

  19. i was walking by there today and they were putting up a sign for an open house of some sort. i didnt catch the date though

  21. its wierd that a lot of buildings in cincinnati look short and squatty because their first 3 floors are hidden by some sort of super highway. i have just always noticed that about phase one especially driving fww which is the vantage point from which 90 percent of people witness downtown. does glazing a building of this size usually take so long?
