so i forget...is western and southern planning on moving into the new space whether it be phase one or phase two? i understand that these companies are owned by them, but i guess i never understood if moving themself was in the plan or not.

too bad it wont actually fit the site that way...seems like there is a whole lot more going on at the ground levels with parking, amenities etc.

PhattyNati replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Southwest Ohio Projects & Construction^my sentiments exactly. although...i think its pretty obvious that their objection is moving out of alignment with 5th street. i apparently had misunderstood the fountain to have been further down closer to government square when the original location was actually not too far from where it is now? council sure did crush them!

its wierd that a lot of buildings in cincinnati look short and squatty because their first 3 floors are hidden by some sort of super highway. i have just always noticed that about phase one especially driving fww which is the vantage point from which 90 percent of people witness downtown. does glazing a building of this size usually take so long?
