Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
although the current theatre space itself is very interesting and nice...i have never really liked the building or its presence in mt adams. it would just be awesome if they moved to be a part of the banks...or at least newport or covington something

i agree with you as well jhansbau about Cincy vs. NKY, and that is the point i was trying to make with the aquarium and such.

i agree with you edale. you cant just accept every crackpot idea for riverfront development. sure cincy missed out on a few good ideas such as the aquarium and the hofbrau haus but big deal, there still right accross the river. and im not sure what vision you are refering to prolix. if cincinnati had the amazing skyline view on its riverfront that all the northern kentucky communities have, youd better believe that development energy would be in cincy as well. i think most people on this forum agree that the office/condo development in covington leaves much to be desired. so why not just have a little patience and we can get this done right. sure it has taken much longer than anybody would hope, but relax...its going to happen and when it does we can all shut the hell up.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Queen City Square
haha. if its as tall as they had planned from the beginning it will look huge there compared with the hieght of the stadium and the other towers in the area. and you'll get to see it from top to bottom as its not tucked in the mass of dowtown but right on the edge

^ yeah. i got to walk through there one time and i almost couldnt afford that. they really do seem to be giving that west side of phase one the temporary treatment

Cincinnati: Downtown: Seven at Broadway
^ Yeah. Well I did the question/comment submission on Neyer's website. I have been posing questions about the tower i guess. No specifics one way or another. But they got back to me within 24 hours and we've actually e-mailed back and fourth a couple of times.

Interesting. I have had a response to every question posted.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Seven at Broadway
This was the response I recieved just recently from Neyer regarding Broadway Tower Thanks for your kind words, Chris. The Broadway Tower will happen, we just don't have it on a firm schedule today. We've been focused on new projects in College Hill, Columbia Tusculum and Norwood, and several more in the pipeline, so we can let the downtown market continue to develop while we execute on these other opportunities. We feel strongly that downtown Cincinnati residential will continue to grow into the foreseeable future, so we're not worried about missing a window. Please stay in touch. Regards, Lew Lew Bonadies Vice President, Marketing Al. Neyer, Inc. Encouraging I would say. They have been very very good about responding to questions posted via their website.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Queen City Square
i believe that is an exit stairwell for the new parking garage. but the side of those stairs where phase 2 would seemingly connect is being blocked up...not clad in glass. maybe thats a sign??

Cincinnati: John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge
i dont know, i like the string lights on the cables themselves. its just bothered me how much the orange lighting alters the true aesthetic of the towers. just looks fake to me
-
Cincinnati: John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge
that is my sentiment as well. they need to get some higher intensity, whiter lights. the orange lights just dont do it for me...they make it look orange! likewise for the spot lighting on the carew

sprucing up the lighting would be real nice. im sure they dont intend to but some spotlighting on the towers would be awesome...make that baby pop
-
Cincinnati: Downtown: Smale Riverfront Park
very nice indeed. i was never aware that they were going to actually build on the coverings over fww...an awesome idea. i just thought it was going to be additional greenspace. also the thought of an eventual loveland bike trail connection is amazing. cannot wait to see some action
