Cleveland Guardians Discussion
I wish my post a few weeks back was wrong but the starting rotation is a mess. Carrasco is fragile, Salazar is weak mentally and don't get me started on Bauer. Frustrating that this wasn't addressed in offseason. And yes...the signs were there last year.

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
Early season reality check... I wish the local pundits would stop with 'the best rotation in baseball' line. Need more starters if they want to win the AL again. I basically trust Kluber and sometimes Carrasco and Salazar.

Cleveland sports talk radio
And...I happened to actually enjoy the movie Draft Day for what it was...and find it HILARIOUS that nearly everyone on 92.3 goes out of their way to trash it...especially Adam the Bull. Believe me, if Bull and Fox were in the movie as much as Rizz and Hammer it'd be the best movie since Godfather for them. *rant over*

If you like a somewhat different approach try Golden and Cherry on WKNR during the PM. Didn't like them at first but they've grown on me. Actually love the Lima/Carman show but the only bad thing is that both are young...kind of hard for them to talk about the Coliseum days (I grew up in Richfield) when they were barely toddlers during its final years of existence ?

Great news... SW a bright spot in the NEO Economy!

Maybe the Hyperloop could build a station in the stadium.

Nothing new per se... Weird it was in the ATL paper. http://www.ajc.com/business/reportedly-considering-bright-idea-sell-lightbulb-unit/ltJmoVvwNU6tfaMML8uKLN/

Cleveland: General Business & Economic News
I thought Nela was part of Current, doing R&D for them. The former head of Nela (I forget her name) now in Boston runs Current, no? Yes...that is correct. Would be great to keep this asset in the region, especially since LED and other forms of lighting are just starting to really take off.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
At least CLE sold out the U2 show in only a few days...and while it's been 2 months since being announced (like Cleveland) the Pittsburgh show still has availability.

Detroit: Developments and News
I agree...Cleveland's downtown resurgence has been spurred by a fairly wide variety of developers...but it would be nice to have one main figure like Gilbert - with a chip on their shoulder along with the finances to back it up... His sole purpose is to see DET rise from the ashes (And of course profit from it as well.) Nothing wrong with wishing CLE had the same.

Cleveland: General Business & Economic News
Really disappointing news...need less of these stories...but similar to OM Group's recent departure to St. Louis it seems like it is coming on the heels of a relatively new CEO being named...

Cleveland: Public Square Redesign
How popular (or not) has the rink been?

Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway / Gordon Square Arts District: Development News
That's sad...place looks good on their website. I know I stopped in to check out the building one night when I was in town (March of 2014)... Not sure what was in there at the time...wine bar perhaps? Moral of the story is that it was empty...at 9pm on a Thursday. Maybe the location is almost too 'hidden?' If I hadn't read about the entire BP complex on UO I know I wouldn't have realized the building existed and was open to the public. Just a random observation.

Flag of the City of Cleveland
Agreed. Chicago sets the standard for city flags, much like Ohio does for states. No flag should have words on it IMO.

World Series 2016
Well said about Progressive being a great facility...especially the lower concourse. Here's hoping that the upper concourse gets the same treatment soon.

Cleveland: St. Clair-Superior (non-Asiatown): Development and News
I think the bigger building with the arched roof would be a great indoor ice rink.

Hoping that the Calder Cup Finals brings some additional attention to the city as well.

Cleveland Monsters Discussion
Great news! The only negative here is how LEM is getting screwed on game days and times. Seems like even the Arena Football League team has priority over hockey.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Agreed...the place was great and pretty busy when I visited over the years. Hard to believe it's been there since 1997. In the meantime, the rumours of it closing started the minute that Northfield opened.

Cleveland Monsters Discussion
Agreed. Worried a bit about attendance for the next round. Looks like they are all on weeknights, if I read it correctly.

Cleveland: Which Project Will Be Next and Why
From that angle especially - this would differentiate CLE's skyline from many other cities in the Midwest...let's hope these get done!
