Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway / Gordon Square Arts District: Development News
Is the bathhouse worth saving? I tried a flyover on Apple Maps but I didn't see what building this was...

Cleveland sports talk radio
I actually don't mind Hammer much...and Bull and Fox talk way too much Browns for my taste. That being said, I've been listening to Sirius XM a bit more lately.

Waco, TX + Victoria, TX + New Braunfels, TX
FWIW my aunt and uncle retired to New Braunfels from North Royalton...after being lifelong Clevelanders and big boosters of NEO they moved south because of health (weather) reasons. They like NB...saying it does compare in some ways to Ohio.

Cleveland: Retail News
Thanks. They've downsized in Chicago to the point of closing two stores since I've lived here.

What happened to Saks? You mention 'former space.' Did they leave or downsize?

CLEVELAND - Glitzy, Foggy, Choppy, Westy...?
Always awesome!

Cleveland / Lakewood: The Edge Developments
Thanks for sticking up for this building. The real tragedy, of course, is that it sat empty for so long. Let's hope these ambitious plans for the residences really do make the best of what was once a proud symbol of Cleveland/Lakewood.

Cleveland: Steelyard Commons
Same here. Now they're moving to FL after Office Depot bought 'em.

clevelandskyscrapers.com - Site update and redesign
Looks awesome! Really clean look. And this is a really great photo for a home page...!!! One comment is that maybe there are too many CAPS for one space. Just a thought.

Cuyahoga County Sin Tax
Glad it passed. For pennies on the dollar it makes it a lot more likely that CLE will keep all three of its teams...and possibly add the NHL down the road as the Southern cities continue to struggle mightily at the gate. Right or wrong (and whether your'e a fan of sports or not) a lot of a city's national perception of being 'major league' quality is tied into having major league sports teams. (Now as far as how good those teams actually are, I can't vouch for that!!!) That's why urban meccas like Portland, Seattle and LA are angling to get teams that they either never had - or lost along the way.

Columbus Blue Jackets Discussion
Yikes. As a CLE sports fan I had a bad feeling when PIT scored to close out the 2nd period. That Orpik goal seemed to fire them up, and even after CBJ scored early in the 3rd the Pens seemed to just get stronger. All of a sudden the next game at NWA is a must win.

CLEVELAND - Almost 40F, so here are 40 pics
Picture 30 is amazing! Great set as usual.

An Autumn Walk at Lake View Cemetery (Inspired by Mayday's post from last year)
wow.

Lancaster Revisited
Nice set. Haven't been through town in a while. Love the Southeastern side of Columbus metro...topography makes all the difference.

Cleveland: Winterfest 2013
Wondrous.

Cleveland: Downtown: Hilton Cleveland
I know Columbus loves its brick...(I lived in German Village for five years and had to drive on them) but I'm not a fan of brick buildings that are on a large scale...like this hotel or the arena. That being said it is a really cool location and right in the middle of all the action!

Cleveland: Downtown: Hilton Cleveland
This building's design is solid. Much better than the large-sized convention Hilton they just built in Columbus. Not even close.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Heritage Bank Center
Hey...the CLEVELAND BROWNS moved. Any team can move anywhere. Leases can be broken, shares can be sold. Money talks. Loyalty walks.

Cleveland...caught between Hype & Reality?
A quick couple of clicks and you'll discover it's just another horsecrap article written by Michael Roberts for Cleveland Magazine. While I think a lot of Cleveland's renaissance is far from perfect, I do think there is a lot of positive momentum in the city. Leave it to Roberts and Brent Larkin of the PD to continually suppress optimism. Can't wait for both of them to put away their typewriters permanently.

The Akron Rubberducks???
I'm on board. Why not?

Cleveland: Downtown: The 9 / Rotunda / County Admin Development
The ultimate for me would have been an Apple Store or something that showcased this space in a ultra-creative way...however that probably never was a practical thought. Very happy with Heinen's. Also happy that their second Chicago store will only be 15 minutes from my house...Love their stuff.

Cleveland anniversary suggestions
If you want to visit NEO's wondrous and oft underrated countryside I recommend Hudson and the Rosewood Grill. Parts of the building were an old mill and date to the MID 1800's! Pretty good food and priced well. If you want the urban feel...my favorite is Little Italy...just about any place there.

Cleveland - Ohio City and a trip down Lorain Ave
Looking great. Thanks for this set!

Cleveland: Tyler Village
Wish it was poached from Naperville, IL instead of Chagrin Falls!

Moving to Cleveland... where to live???
Hey there... Good luck in moving to wonderful Northeast Ohio. I grew up in the suburbs there and now live in suburban Chicago (Highland Park). There's not a day where I don't think about moving back...but the careers of my wife and I are going well in Chicago for now...so here we stay. I lived in Streeterville for a year...(222 E Pearson) and loved it. CLE doesn't have that vibe...yet. So, you will be getting more of a Lakeview-esque feel in a lot of the neighborhoods mentioned above, which is OK too. I think you'll like CLE. It does have a ton of similarities to Chicago...and is much more manageable. Good luck!
