  1. lets hope the community input results in a re-use of the existing buildings or a decision to not move forward with the project all together. Tearing down a single structure is the most ridiculous idea.
  2. any new renderings? Hopefully improved over the last few floating on here....
  3. probably a significant amount, given the amount of people needed to work the restaurants for the lunch crowd, etc.
  4. Thanks for the update Randy. This project definitely seemed to start out of nowhere.
  5. Thanks Zach. Now I don't have to, esp. since mine are nowhere near yours in quality. I love the first one, with the segways in the Goodfellows unit.

  7. those are great pictures. thanks for sharing.
  8. Thats great, I have always liked Nancy Z. Unfortunately, this is the one statistic that everyone clings to and is the reason why she is still so unpopular: Fall 2003 Fall 2008 Change Number of Bob Huggins: 1 0 -100%
  9. I agree for the most part. I have yet to buy clothes from either store because nothing fits me right....all the shirts are way too long. But o H&M's credit, they have incredibly affordable suits that look good. They may not last as long as other higher quality suits, but they still look good. For someone like me, they are a definite buy.
  10. No Brookville Lake!!!!!!!! boo. Nice set btw.
  11. Right, for some reason I was under the assumption we were talking about actual lanes instead of just reminders, but that was my fault in assuming things. I have heard it from city transportation engineers themselves...there is plenty of room on Clifton, MLK, and many other roads for dedicated bike lanes.
  12. Why can't we get actual lanes? Is this too much to ask? I am a bit confused. Or are they actually putting in lanes? Either way, I suppose this is a step in the right direction but can we please see some dedicated lanes....please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. I suppse I didn't officially thank Holly, Michael, Stacy, the guys from Segway, and the guys from Switch for a great evening. I personally liked Lackman. For someone like me, it was the perfect size with a great outdoor space and beautiful Rookwood finishings. Plus, the rooftop view was the best IMO. I too have a lot of pictures and may post them, but it seems most didn't turn out well and so I may just let Ram do the heavy lifting with that. I think I am going to do the tour tomorrow, this time with the bf.
  14. New restaurant in the works Posted by PollyCampbell at 5/29/2009 9:23 AM EDT on Cincinnati.com http://news.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?Category=blog14&plckController=Blog&plckScript=blogScript&plckElementId=blogDest&plckBlogPage=BlogViewPost&plckPostId=Blog%3a1921648a-c77d-4218-b8c1-5af7ab309046Post%3a7d60708c-359f-4bd1-acbc-9c79707acf1c&sid=sitelife.cincinnati.com
  15. very interesting, and a great view to boot.
  16. and an american apparel....
  17. Yes, but with regard to clothing.....they do have a DrX Mojoe.... or however you spell it. Theres one at Rookwood.
  18. and also, why hasn't H&M opened in the Short North. You think it would have happened already. Seems like a no-brainer.
  19. GATEWAY QUARTER!!!!!!!!!!! No, its pretty obvious H&M wouldn't first choose to go down there and plus, it would go against the local store orientation they are really striving for down there. And I agree, C. Heights would be more likely than anywhere else in the center city. Well, unless you're including the Levee....which is a place I am sure they have considered in the past.

gonna be there for Gay Pride from June 24-28. I'm super excited. Thanks for these.
  22. Thanks Buzz Killington. Thanks for the shots Colday. Chili Blossoms never looked so great.
  23. I'm going to start calling you Buzz Killington.
  24. Had a chance to view some of the new units of Phase III. I must say I was very impressed with a lot of the units. Certainly, I will be excited to see the streetcar become reality so we won't have to continue to equip every unit with a surface lot (or garage spot.) This continues to be a sticking spot with me. Regardless, I will post some pictures soon of my experience, but I encourage everyone to take part in the tour on Saturday to see for yourself.
  25. Let me finish that sentence for you Randy... "across the street from Lavomatic"
