I'm not one to gossip, but I heard you had the no gag reflex on lockdown. :o LMAO. Lord MTS, I was 10 when that happened. But yes, you heard correct. I'm a champ and a half. Who are you talking to these days anyway? Rando? RANDO?? No, it was that boy from Laverne and Shirley land! lmao. It was SOOOO necessary. made my day.

great set. The only openind day game I went to was when the umpire died behind the plate back in 1995 I believe. I was 10 and was scarred for life. I choked on my hot pretzel when it happened.
  6. we need a 'hurl/throwing up' smiley guy because I feel that way all too often on this site, esp. when I come across threads like this. This project makes me want to hurl....everywhere.
  7. Tipped off? You make it sound so....underground, esp. considering the 'tipping off' happened on the phone yesterday. Yea, when I saw it yesterday, I immediately thought of you. I knew you would be SO HAPPY. You've been talking up that place and its need for place in the Q for what seems like an eternity. Now maybe you can move on to something else. :)
  8. One Columbia Square is at the corner of Columbia & Delta. The suburban-style strip mall buildings in Rando's photo above are set way back from Columbia Parkway. Two buildings that I was referring to are going in front of those strip mall buildings against the Parkway. Yea the new Brueggers gives a good presence to the street and the new structure will at least block the surface lot behind it even more. Still though, this could have been done a LOT better. The design simply makes no sense, especially given the fact that Eastern is on the back of the site and easy access would have been given to a parking lot fronting Eastern instead of Columbia. bah.
  9. great pictures. the cincinnati set was especially random.
  10. Hey, thats my design, and my partners. We came up with that on our own. When we presented it to Roxanne Qualls and other city officials, they seemed very reseptive to the idea although the city engineer thought it would be cost prohibitive.
  11. ^so the answer is no. ha.
  12. eh. I think I should. I took him out to 2, count them 2 meals. Plus I housed him. What did you do Sherman? Complain all night.....check. Thank goodness, you took your BF and were not injured like AJ's former victim. AJ's former victim? Dare I ask? Do I need a restraining order? He does know where I live now..... Yes! The victim is traumatized and is in seclusion. I did try to warn you. You know AJ's Parol Officer, do you need his number? Theres something about a boy in trouble with the law I find so....appealing.
  13. Stop stealing my ideas!
  14. Mt. Lookout Sq. is probably your favorite Square? Wow. I'd take Hyde Park Sq. over it any day. Yeah, Mt. Lookout has more reasonably priced/practical places but Hyde Park still has Echo and Indigo at least. I take it you didn't get a chance to see Mariemont? Mariemont is SO overrated. IMO anyway. Yea the buildings that are there look nice and it has a theatre and whatnot, but its a one-sided square. It just seems so...awkward and incomplete. Mt. Lookout Square was looking extra good when we went through. Plus, we only drove through and we came in from the south side of delta, probably the squares sexiest approach. I was a little surprised by his declaration of Mt. Lookout Sq. being his favorite, especially after all the eye candy we saw at Hyde Park Square. I mean, damn.

  16. No one mentioned Amberly Village! I prefer Amberly Village and a few streets in Pleasant Ridge over Indian Hill. At least Amberly is near civilization (P-Ridge's business district). Gas light Clifton is easily overlooked too for some reason. Indian Hill is boring imo. I showed him some P. Ridge on street view but ultimately said it wasnt worth it considering the time constraints.
  17. BTW, it was great meeting you AJ. Hope Cincy treated you well. And despite Sherman's warm 'welcome'....I hope you enjoyed the city.

  19. just gave the money I could.
  20. Atlas, proceed at your own risk. Keep the mace close. LOL ha. thanks for the warning. ill make the bf protect me if need be, although ProkNO5 seems harmless enough.
  21. I would highly recommend Tusculum Ave. in Columbia-Tusculum. And some surrounding streets. Easily one of my favorite streets in Cincinnati. San Fran. of the midwest.
  22. ew, and so did university plaza.
  23. drove by columbia square tonight btw. The Brueggers is being built, basically up to the street, blocking some of the surface lot. I thought this would happen, and I think there is another outlot going up along the street as well. So these two outlots give better street presence but it still could have been a lot better. As far as this building design, I suppose it is sort of similar to the Columbia Square office building. I see the comparison. But the two site plans dont compare much.
  24. uh huh. ok. next time youre in the city, call me.
  25. not sure what you meant by that, but I'll take it as an insult!! Seriously, that area was referred to as the bottoms. He's calling you a nelly bottom....so if anything its not an insult, its a compliment. Geez....have to explain everything to the sheltered conservative type.
