Well I am currently a Masters in Planning student at Cincinnati. For Ohio, its the best program and one of the best in the Midwest. Top 20 nationwide. I enjoy the program, although I have my complaints too. It is NOT design oriented so if you want design experience, look elsewhere. At the same time though, you can make the experience design oriented by taking the right studios for electives. That is what I am doing/have done.
  4. That is what you are sir. evil! :-)

Cincinnati's suburban rent for office space is by far the lowest of the compared cities in the reprt. The CBD rent is average and yet, DT Cincinnati is doing better vacancy wise. This is surprising to see. Its great to see!
  6. how strong Randy?
  7. Staples Commits To Unnecessary Sprawl. Well, atleast harrison appears to have taken some sort of control over how their new buildings are being built, as almost all these buildings in this area are made of brick and stone with low signage. But ew, this development shouldnt be happening imo.
  8. jmeck, I was referring to the parking lot, not the entire footprint of the project.
  9. Yea, the corner of Race and 12th has a lot for surface parking. It looks bigger in person than the site plan floating around here.
  10. they can expand into the awful surface lot they are creating along the park. Problem solved.

yea, this area does have some potential but it needs to reinvest in some better store frontages or something. There was always some charm of the place as North Bend Rd. runs into Harrison there. Cheviot is really the only suburb on the west side that has a decent built environment....the townships are all a mess and make me sick to my stomach. My feeling of the Cheviot area though was always a bit run down and set in the past. They need to be apart of that Main Street program and get funding.....not sure if thats still around but if it is....they need to do something here.

I'm more than happy to show off all of the westside's assets any time you want a tour. huh. You mean wonderful Colerain, Green, and Delhi? Okkk, but don't forget Crosby, Whitewater and Harrison....the best NBD/downtown on the west side it seems (and that aint sayin much) uh huh.
  22. yea, randy likes to swoop in and break the story before you get a chance to.
  23. yea, I dont like being teased. well, atleast not on message boards. Give us something. bah!
  24. yea this whole site is sooo important imo. It really is an eyesore for Northside and could have such a positive impact. Go Northside!
