it seems to me that you're stereotyping too much and ruling out huge areas of town because of that. Don't automatically rule out the short north because you think its all yuppies....the area is definitely diverse and interesting. My experience tells me you shouldn't be actively looking for a relationship. If you say 'I want to be in a relationship in 6 months' then its not going to happen. Stay open to different types of people and you'd be surprised wwhat comes your way. In my experience, the best relationships have come by chance. Granted, I have never been out there actively searching for relationships.

YTown, if you were gay, do you think you would have the luxury of holding these 'moral' beliefs you have? If you were gay, would you still be against gay marriage? Its cliche and old but seriously, try walking in my shoes for one day and I guarantee you wouldn't feel the way you do now. Guaranteed!

This culture is becoming better and more fair, what do you think its becoming? You know, you could insert 'black and white' in some of your sentences, and you would have exactly what was going on 50 plus years ago. You do realize your position on these types of things will be looked at in history in the same line as those who opposed black-white marriage? You are wrong and history will prove that to be true. I love how a straight person can pull a 'moral values' card simply because they were born straight. Its as if they have some sort of superiority over us. ha.

ha. well i think if dinosaurs would play a big part in certain stories seeing as how BIG they were and how they ruled the land and all. Comparing the lack of dino stories to the lack of ladybug stories is funny.

awesome set. yea the skyline looks good at certain angles and quite spotty at others.
  9. I don't think I've ever waited more than 5 minutes to catch the 17, 18, or 19...all of which will take you between those two points. wow. im waiting for those buses at the wrong times. I HATE HATE HATE seeing two 17 buses show up at the same time. Or seeing a 17 and an 18 show up at the same time. Its like, lets get some coordination here and maybe speed up the 17 so it could have served me 15 minutes before when I began waiting. Ive been late to too many classes this quarter. bah. The same goes for the 2 in Columbus. ha.
  10. For Hamilton County, you could use cagis data, clip out the sidewalks and aggregate the length attribute, and divide by 2 since you're looking for centerline data if you're familiar with ArcView. I had to do something similar to this for my studio this quarter. I did it for Anderson Township here in Hamilton County. Dunno on any other place though.
  11. wow, I have never seen the ascent from those angles. Such a wonderfully interesting building. nice set.
  12. This doesn't have to stall anything. I think the idea of income integration is a worthy one to prop up. I just don't like the fact that it was on the front page of the enquirer and was opened to opinion on enquirer.com. Those ignorant to these kinds of things have no room to give opinions, IMO :) (oh no, the Housing 630 class rears its ugly head...Randy, I know you feel me on this one)

get it right. :whip: :whip: :whip:
  14. I agree. I dont necessarily like the idea of telling the world the development will be mixed income. I thought the point of it was to not be aware of this kind of thing. Not hiding it, just not being able to tell the difference between subsidized and market rate. Now EVERYONE will know and the place could have a stigma...I don't know, just theorizing.
  15. noticed that today as well. Definitely new.
  16. Well I like quickies so....its all good.
  17. ugh. OTR threads makes my heart hurt sometimes. So much potential and so much beauty, and a lot of this is being reached but still a ways to go. Best 'hood in Ohio imo.
  18. lol, i think i might like that better, ha!
  19. Young professional women??? Its YPenis not YUterus.
  20. that elevator thing seems bizarre.
  21. who cares, let them build this crap. this does nothing for anything really, because 5 years after this is built something else will out do this and so on and on. The sex appeal of Burj Dubai has thus begun to drop considerably.
  22. you know your neighborhood hasn't quite hit that critical mass when you're getting over-excited about a banking center. just my opinion though.
  23. oh geez. I love how all ohio metros do this. In Cleveland, I have heard Brunstucky. In C-Bus, Grovetucky. Now this. In Cincy, we simply say, Kentucky.
