Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
Just got back from the meeting, sitting here at DAAP waiting for class to start, thus the reason I had to leave early. But yea every person that spoke from the public spoke in favor of the streetcar. Only one woman actually didn't come out and say she was for it, but rather asked where the group was getting some of their ridership numbers, etc. But yea a very positive vibe for sure. I left when Cranley was quesitoning and I was getting SO annoyed...he was essentially answering his own questions. That leads me to believe he was just being a pain in the ass for the sake of being a pain in the ass.

Columbus: Re-branding & Identity
i dont know, dt cbus even during the day feels dead. Even if theres all these people on the street, you have a way of feeling isolated when youre surrounded by huge surface lots and wide as well streets. C-Bus really needs to continue to pour efforts downtown, maybe take some money away from putting up jumbo trons at every corne...

Just because this hasn't been your experience doesn't make it absurd or self-involved. My experience with this city is apparently different than yours, but it doesnt make my opinion based on those experiences absurd. Get off your high horse.

Ohio's Grandest City
yea, ill agree with rando, although I am a grad. student. Sometimes, I feel as though the grad. program is an after thought to the undergrad, although I still will be able to take 3 studios in 2 years, so I am cool with that.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Hampton Inn / Homewood Suites (Cincinnati Enquirer Building Redevlopment)
on a side note, what is the typical cycle for downtown. I am so used to living in the university bubble at osu and now uc that I expect everything to come on line in september and want to look 2 months ago. But yea its way too early for downtown, unless I put myself on lists, etc. But most places have told me to wait until 60 days before. If I do this, can I expect to find things for September 1st or is the usual cycle June to June and there won't be as many units available in September?

Cincinnati: Downtown: Hampton Inn / Homewood Suites (Cincinnati Enquirer Building Redevlopment)
yea almost all are around the $1/sf level. Some above, some below, but most right around. Every realtor person I have talked to has echoed this.

Cincinnati: Downtown - The McAlpin
since I moved to Clifton, I walk to get my groceries at the IGA. I simply make more trips and am more inclined to run to IGA to pick things up for a meal I want to make right then and there. So while my trips increase, the amount of money I save on gas, etc increases too and plus, I stay in better shape. :)
