Cincinnati: Fountain Square: Development and News
Sounds like a good story! ;) I do agree that they have an excellent happy hour. There are three Skyline locations downtown. However, none of them are open past 8:00 PM during the week, they are not open on Sundays unless there is a special event, and they are all closed by 4:00 PM on Saturday. With the bars on 7th Street (McFadden's, Madonna's Sully's, Rockin' Robin's, etc) you would think the Skyline at 7th and Vine would want to be open late on Friday and Saturday nights. What better way to end a night of heavy drinking than to have some cheese coneys. :) You should have seen the Skyline on Ludlow last Friday night. There was a long ass line out the door at 2:30am. I felt like I was waiting to get into a club. They are damn fast though. Its funny b/c I was downtown and would have prob. went to the one dt if it was open. oh well.

2007: Four Ohio Cities in Top 20 Most Dangerous Cities
cities like columbus are so low because they have many homogenized suburban communities within their borders, thus diluting their crime numbers. Notice how virtually no city like that (Indy, Louisville, etc.) are on that list.

Cincinnati: Walnut Hills - Humana Center & SpringHill Suites
So I wonder if it would ever be possible to include this area in the CBD. The CBD extends along Broadway Commons up towards this area. If those lots ever get developed, we could have a continuous area, all within the CBD. Makes sense to me.

Cincinnati: Columbia Tusculum: Columbia Square
im excited for this project. A lof of work still needs to be done on the northern part of Columbia Pky, like getting rid of billboards, etc. that are an aesthetic nuisance. The one around Allyn's is a good example. Also, those two new townhomes by the starbucks are bland. I would love to somehow see the starbucks lot have something built there to hide these homes.

Cincinnati: Clifton: Development and News
I have walked by there every day since mid-spetember. There has been plenty of nice days since then and I have never seen that area packed, etc with people eating ice cream, etc. It seems to me to be more of a skateboarder hang out. I live 2 blocks from this proposed new plaza and will probably never use it. Lets turn the habaneros or servattis suface lots into public spaces.....seems better. Wish it was that easy.

Cincinnati: Clifton: Development and News
if the area gets wi-fi, id go there to hang out, or does it already..I havent tried. But there seems to be little reason to go there to hang, esp. with the burnet woods thing there. IMO, there needs to be a structure there. Give something thats unique. Theyre trying to emulate Hyde Park and Oakley, etc by having green space. Why not keep it unique instead of copying what others have done.
